The gen is white gold, the rep is steel, so not very accurate

Yes that's what I'm thinking about. Never tried gen, if it is very difference in weight I go for a hulk, or another sub no date maybe.
guess its the same with the new model black dial.

The black hole effect is definitely on point with this one. I am really impressed with the quality of VSF. Out of all the other heavy hitter "higher end" reps that I have this stock crystal puts them all to shame.

kavorca1 I was never in possession of the v7 but from the looks of it I think this is damn near close to gen. My rookie eyes aren't the best, but when looking at gen pictures I have a hard time telling the difference. I'll let you be the judge. Still waiting on yours I take it? I think you will be impressed, worth the wait.
