They not gonna sell you the crown only, why would they , they know vsf have that flaw so you must buy 2 watches… i had both clean and vsf and swapped out the crowns

I would, cleans SELs are an instant tell with overlap of the last links on not only the daytonas but gmt oyster bracelet also, almost half a mill gap. Only exception are the new clean/arf colab for the bracelet & perfect SELs.

I have a VSF 126500 and the watch is very nice. The oversized dots on the crown are not as noticeable as you see on the micro shots. I did ended up swapping it with Clean GMT crown. So any crowns for sale in members section here for 126 series GMT, Sub, Yatchmaster II should also work. I don't know about 116 series crown compability but maybe more knowledgeable members can chime in on that.
. Also not sure if/when I will change the crown - it's nothing obvious when you wear the watch; I would say there is at least no need for an immediately change
3 things vsf better than clean on 126500ln - Rehaut finishing much better- Black version sub dials - DD4131 ( Sh4131 just so rough when you winding,rotor is noisy ) DD is smooth and no rotor noiseI may not make someones life (decision) easier but here are VSF on the left - Clean on the right:
the bracelet is something more comfortable with the VSF and first I thought the VSF is just a tiny little bit more shiny - but not sure; maybe I suffer on the 'new-toy-syndrome'
I agree with you. I have chosen the VSF. Mainly due to the movement. I have purchased an APS bezel and Gen crystal for it so far. I’d also like to find a Gen crown to finish t off.
