yea keep me updated on that too.
Im looking for a datejust 36mm blue dial. Probably going with VSF, seems to be the safest option.
But many people keep saying that we should wait for a V2. Im not in a hurry. Clean seems to be better on lugs though.

Im very torn between CF and VSF on the 36 model.
Is there anybody who held both watches already?
From what i understand its the following:

Bezel: Clean (better colour)
Xtal: VSF (but still flawed)
Rehaut: Unclear but probably Clean
Case shape: Clean
Bracelet: Clean (although not as good as 41 models?)
Movement: VSF

So its leaning towards Clean.
Im also curious about sharp edges on these watches.. Which one feels more genlike?
If the CF 36 models feel cheaper than the 41 ones it might be better to go with a 41 model first?
I love the classy look of the 36 size but I am still unsure. Overall VS has served me better than Clean in terms of general feel of the watch - but I only held their subs and gmts. I would honestly not mind the VSF lug issues (apparently not as bad as users described at first) if the watch feels better in hand.

For me, VSF feels more genlike...

How about the colour of the bezel? From what I understand clean is a bit better in this regard and got more of whitegold tone while VSF just got this cold stainless steel colour?

Its interesting that the VSF case shape is better. Many people complained about it at first.

Also you did not mention the dials... Who wins in this regard?

I’d say CF and VSF are on par when it comes to bezel, in this case meaning that both are ok in shape but lacks the WG less shiny colour. Regardless which one you’ll go for I’d say a plating would be needed if you want it to look closer to gen.

I actually started with the 41. Thought it looked great and loved the blue dial - then tried a friends 36 and realised it’s a better fit for my wrists. First got the GMF and when VSF then launched their version is was a no brainier to change up.

It’ll depend on taste and wrist size. I think the 36 is perfect for my quite small wrists (17cm ish)

I see. The only thing that makes me not pull the trigger on the VSF is that people are saying Clean makes a better Job on the Case and Lugs than VSF does. And I dont know if there is a V2 coming out soon or not for the 36mm.

I wouldn’t count a v2, but don’t worry both vsf and cf are awesome, it comes down to which compromises you’re ready to make.

I honestly don’t think the lugs will bother me, it’s just something that you notice when pointed out. If they bother you just get the cf, live with the inferior movement and change the Crystal.

I will add a gen dial and gen smooth bezel because I don’t like the rep fluted bezels.

i also thought of a gen dial but has trouble sourcing a resonably priced blue one so I’ll settle on a gen crystal and WG plated bezel.

Vsf crystal is quite good for me. I will install a gen dial and a gen smooth bezel.
