VSF Clarification on Submariner Case Kit and Serial Number

I should be ok with returning the watch and receiving a new one right? Or should I just keep what I have and do the paint mod on the bezel? Keen to hear your opinions

I would never send a watch back to China, but it may not be the same headache for you depending on where you live. I've seen more than one report of it taking months to get something back, though sometimes a repair was involved. I would at least negotiate for some credit on your next purchase if you keep the watch. PT may not agree to that since they offered an exchange. Who would pay shipping both ways?

I live in Australia. They said they'd refund me shipping costs Up to $30 and they'd pay shipping to me. Shipping shouldn't cost more than $30 for me.

Yeah right buy and pay for VSF and get RFX claimed to be as VSF and be fine about it.

That's a joke VSF is doing sending out random lower quality watches as VSF and then claiming they have no idea and say dealers must be taking watches apart and re-assembling them together with random parts. It's called a scam.

Yes thats sure no one was planning to scam but it turned out quite badly and their explanation didn’t make any sense. Hope they get that sorted and also people who already have received wrong watches find a solution. At least for the 12 series there’s no parts to mix.

Is it the same for VSF 116619LB also ?
I got 2 QC’s for that watch but they start with DO serial.

ST9 is the clasp code for Noob . Not sure about the D05 but I would try to get a pic of the movement to be sure.

The movement looks correct. Thanks for the input...street fighter indicated that his vsf has the ST9. I approved QC already.
