I maybe get your point, but if this is gen, I prefer the rep:

I saw that as well, wonder if they just fouled that up removing it from the dial? Either way, that looks terrible.

I'm pretty sure that this unit has been disassembled for replication purposes and photographed after it was put back together. You will never find an unit like this pass the Omega QC at the factory...never!

This makes total sense, especially given the condition that the gen hour marker (lume comparison) shot looks like it does. I'm guessing it was handled with tweezers quite a few times for measurements and such, thus the marks on the metal around the lume. Still, the VSF version is pretty bang on for the grey dial version which is the one I purchased. Quite pleased with the outcome.

It's a great rep, the only "issues," and they're very minor, are that the clasp seems to be somewhat sharp feeling. Having never handled the gen, not sure if that's normal or not. The deployant portion of the clasp has sharper edges when putting the watch on, in other words. The other thing is that the date consistently changes at 11:33PM, but that's just a hand alignment thing. I'm not too worried about that.

In my opinion, this watch deserves super rep status.

Seems like they nailed the blue colour! I really want the blue dial version!

Hey guys, I have a feeling that this is the V1 bracelet (narrow middle) and that the 12 marker is crooked. What do you guys think? Thanks! :)

Yes on both counts, V1 bracelet and the 12 markers are not parallel.

I didn't think much of this watch when I was browsing around but I saw a gen today at an AD and sort of fell in love. The dial design is gorgeous so now I'm looking into this VSF. Unfortunately I have rather puny 6.25 inch wrists - does this look too big for me?
