Vsf 2018 seamaster diver 300m

Mine is of the older yellow lume batch, and the domed lume is basically the same as that.
Wow - that lume looks awesome now. Same as all the other little updates, besides the pop in the red on seamaster is there any other flaws really still on this watch. I would say it looks and is near superep territory...

I'm about to trigger my purchase for one... could you just let me know who carries this "silent v3"? I only see the v2 in most catalogs so far.
Or should I wait until the holidays are over?

This is a 42mm watch.
The "all ceramic" version is a 43.5mm and the chronograph is a 44mm, but VSF doesn't make the chrono version...

The ceramic one is stunning, tried it on my wrist at a local AD..
Actually thinking about selling my ceramic bezel V2 to help financing a gen Omega!
Ordered this model from Ryan over at INTIME and received the QC images today. Unfortunately for me like expected and discussed here in this thread the lume on the markers is an instant tell and issue. I have replied to Ryan asking nicely for possibility of sourcing another watch from newer batch in hope to get another with whiter lume on the markers.
Just wanted to show you to see if its not only me but if this actually warrants a rejections of the current watch I have received QC images for. Is this the best I can hope for or is it okey for me to ask for a better one?

I wouldn’t be too happy with that either, best looking seamaster imo though!

Didn't want to create a new thread for it but there seems to be a new factory that makes a 300m; ORF. It's just been added on Trusty's website (can't see it on the TD's yet). Seems to have a 2824 as well. I really want a 300m with the super clone movement but I'm still curious how this stacks up to the VSF.
I spotted this too and there is a lot to like in my eyes. Case looks better with nicer cg’s and the bracelet is much nicer in finish with rounded polished edges to the separate pieces. Sel looks better finished and more gen like. Markers look nicer too. Not sure about the movement yet. I’ll be getting one when possible.
Probably should have it’s own thread really I guess.

Waiting on a black VSF v2 right now - just RL’d the first one because the bezel insert was off by about a click and I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be able to fix it myself without breaking the insert. Has anyone else fixed the alignment themselves before?
Fingers crossed that was the right move coz everything else looked great. Based on what I’ve read in this thread, and having bought a blue VSF from another member here that has perfect bezel insert alignment, I’m pretty sure that was the right move??

I haven't fixed it myself but hanski realigned the insert for me. This seems to be a quite common issue on this particular VSF release.
The grey is my favorite but getting a decent one with a whiter lume seems to be tough.
I ordered a V2 dial from my dealer as I thought it was better then the one I owned as recent dealer photos appeared better, however it arrived and was the same as what I had, so ended up sending the watch off for a relume. Results below.
If anyone needs a grey dial, or fancy having a go at a relume themselves and worried about messing up the dial they have. I have just listed it in the sales section as I no longer require it.

Bought one for sh@ts and giggles and it may just be one of the best reps OTB I own. I now need the white. Lume is not yellow on this one.
