Looks nice indeed! Does this one fit on the 88 USD and Ali rubber straps? Or did you order a 'special' strap for it and if yes, where?

The one I pictured is on the $88 rubber one from a TD. It will fit most standard straps that would otherwise go into a pin type clasp.

I love mine and put it on a cheapie bracelet bought on ebay. Tried to look for a gen bracelet online but could not find it. Haven't tried the AD though. What do u guys think is a good option?

Great looking watch, is this a VSF?

Hi to all. Going to buy Seamaster and have a question. Can anyone tell me, such sticker ("VS" in the circle) on dial means that it is VSF or not?

Yes it’s from VSF. The ‘F’ stands for factory so almost all the factory names end with ‘f’. VSF, PPF, JF, ZF, ARF, etc. So that’s just VS Factory’s sticker.

That’s a good looking watch. The lume markers are pretty white!

Thanks for your feedback.

I`m not choosed yet. There is the second variant, but the seller didn`t give good photos.

V2 on gen Omega polyester NATO. Fits in-between holes for me, so sadly the strap won't be a keeper. Incredibly soft and comfortable though.

I really don't understand why people keep saying that the 88 USD strap from the TD is the same or similar as the 20 USD ones on AliExpress. They definitely aren't 1:1 I have both in hand and was very unhappy with the AliExpress deal. The rubber feels very cheap and the SEL fit is very bad, furthermore the clasp is cheap and the inside printings are wrong / not existent. Since you are wearing an expensive watch, I wouldn't save a few bucks on the strap. I wear this watch almost every day and the cheap rubber is the last that I want on my wrist for hours. Just my two cents ;)

Even amongst the cheapo $20 ones there are differences. You may have ordered the lousier one without the proper engraving and prints.

mate, you must have ordered another one. I've handled both and the rubber quality is exactly the same, difference comes down to buckle finishing

Yeah I feel like price and quality don't always go hand in hand on aliexpress for straps, sometimes you get amazing value for what you pay and other times you pay the same amount or more and the quality is a lot worse.

I'm leaning toward picking a VSF V2 up. I really like the gray dial. I don't have any blue watches at the moment. I still need to sell a few of my collection to make some room.

For the members that have or had multiple versions, which is your favorite?

From building quality and "close to gen" they are all the same. So it really depends on your preferences.
But black is normally a safe choice.

Black is the easy winner in the current lineup...

Blue is the classic seamaster but in this generation the blue isn't as good as the black. All previous generations I thought the blue was the best... but I've had 3.. black/white/blue. I've not had the grey dial. But black was the easy winner imo.

It's black in direct light and when you're looking at it dead in the middle, but it has grey tones to it when you look at it from the side angles... the laser engraved waves really play with the dial. It isn't a flat black boring dial... it really does change. From grey to light grey to dark black.
