In my experience only running +30 would indicate magnetism.

This is a good point. I have started testing all of my new watches for magnetism. My latest rep (ZF BB58) showed up highly magnetized. I bought a cheap demagnetizer off aliexpress and it worked great: LINK

Here is a great article on how to test for magnetism and demagnetize a watch: How to Demagnetize a Watch

Quote from the above article: There are apps that utilize the magnetic sensor on a smart phone to detect magnetism. Example of these is LEPSI on iOS, or Physics Toolbox Magnetometer on android, or in general apps that have the name “magnetometer” or “gauss meter” will do.

I have used the Physics Toolbox Magnetometer app on my Samsung phone and can confirm that it works great.

Not sure what your question is. This thread IS about the VSF 126610.

I think he meant do we prefer 126610 over 116610.
if that is what he asked, I say definitely yes.
126610 is a perfect sub.

Yes that is exactly my question, thank you! I’ve been reading this specific sub for a couple months and see the “ups and downs” in specific topics.... I’m just trying to decide if I’m satisfied or if I NEED the 126610..... I think I need it. Thanks again!

So.. after 5 days with my watch, it seems to be running roughly -30s/day at the moment, while the QCs were showing +6s/day a couple of weeks ago.

Do any of you know if the movement is difficult to regulate? I have never done it before but don’t mind buying a timegrapher. Risky?
Otherwise, if it does bother me too much, I’ll look for a watchsmith in EU..

Oh, didnt know that there are some people outthere that wear a Watch to get the time?

The Lepsi app was a waste of money for me. Every watch I own is magnetized according to that app. Even after demagnetizing.

Does everyone agree that a new 126610 is worth replacing a very new VSF 116610?

In those gen vs VSF insert comparison shots, from a distance, the numbers/markers on the gen look thicker, but up close they don’t look much different in terms of size. Do you think it’s the platinum that makes them appear thicker/bolder from a distance rather than them actually being thicker?

You need a VSF12 in your life. I wouldn't be in a hurry to part with your VSF11, you can't live with both? I have 5 and still collecting....

Thank you! I can sense that I’m going to “need” both. I’m on my 3rd legit Rep, 1 Gen Tag. I do love this 116. Thanks to everyone for the input. Any naysayers out there?

It mainly boils down to if you like the newer tapered lugs and 70 hour power reserve or if you're happy with the beefier maxi-case.

With a V4 Noob Daytona and a DJ36 as my other Rep’s I did want my Sub to be chunkier wear on the wrist.

126610 wears slightly larger on the wrist than 116610.

It’s the opposite to me, to be honest.
I have fairly small wrists and tried both of em on, I have to say the newer 126610 wears much better and the thinner lugs makes it wear smaller than his older brother on steroids.
That’s just me, and it’s all about personal preference I suppose.

The 116610 is great, but the 126610 would win in a fight. Everything about it is bigger and badder but it is also easier on the eye, more balanced and more comfortable. The ideal combo for a collector is a Hulk and a 12LN.

I think it’s just an illusion because of wider bracelet and thinner lugs. When I got my 126610ln I noticed right away that it feels slightly larger.
I compared it side by side and 126610 wears larger but at the same time it looks much sleeker on the wrist.
