The only real bonus I see may be the alignment of day/date wheel and ease of "plug and play" gen parts. Otherwise I agree 100%. The GMF tungsten daydates are pretty good.Cool to see the industry progress, but the reliable, easy-to-service, and easy-to-fix-or-replace 2836 movement is a major part of the reason why I love the current DayDates. More weight and better fluted bezels are the only real updates I'm interested in.
Ss with new movement, ewf hasnt done tungstenI don't understand from the ad if this is a weighted watch like the gmf or just a stainless steel with the new movement?
Clone movement hype I guess. Like I said earlier it allows for easier frankens, you can drop gen dials and daywheels/daydates into it hopefully. But if not then I think it's pretty meh.So what's the hype?
Still 100 grams less than gen
