Another strap just arrived from blackforest

Unfortunately the strap arrived the day after I sent my AP off to get serviced! Probably won't be back for at least 3 weeks or so. I did take the old strap off before I sent the watch and in comparison the croc strap looks to be spot on in lug spacing. From the way it looks I'd say it should fit - but I will only be able to confirm once the watch is back.

On a side note, the leather is super soft and supple, feels very good and high quality. Should be a delight to wear especially when broken in. I asked Tuan about the stitching issue and he said that it was done on purpose to avoid the bone and imperfections in the skin. I think it's because he does it by hand that he just can't get it through the tougher alligator parts. He even offered to make a new one, but I said I'll keep this as is.

He's a really great guy and very fast to respond to emails - highly recommended. My only concern now is the treatment of the animals which I never thought of before ordering the strap.

Got the VNH mounted!

Changes the character nicely on the 3777 and the weight reduction from removing the bracelet is really noticeable on the wrist

There was a massive backlog and it's finally at the front of the queue. Hoping it'll be done next week! So frustrating just waiting on it now...

A lovely golden brown 22/20with cream stitching. I think the quality on this one is slightly better than Tuan's. See how the underside is finished too.

Both cost around £18 to £22.

Some pics, not the greatest shots. The croc isn't as red/brown as the pics, really doesn't do the strap justice.

Navy croc...stitching isn't as good, although I will happily re-stitch myself with a thicker waxed thread.

Any black phython, this actually has some silvery blue hue/refection in the daylight

thanks Ruski, it was you FA Jones that motivated the purchase.....have really struggled to get a blue hands & numbers. Its only a decoated bridge version.

VNHandcraftart IWC Strap just arrived this morning. Shipping took a bit, but that was expected. Also provided me with an RR tracking number that i could not use, but alas, its here and from first glance i am more than satisfied. This is a genuine Alligator strap for $35 dollars. Stiching is not ideal, but better than i expected. Color is fantastic, maybe a tiny bit glossier than i would have liked. Cant wait to get it on the watch. Without further ado - here are the pics:
