I can't see anything about custom straps on his Ebay shop, other than adding strap holes.
It says "CUSTOM STRAP AVAILABLE" when you click on any strap. He usually bolds it in red sometimes but you essentially contact him with a strap's item number if you like a particular design/inquire further to make a custom size/colour.
I am still waiting on mine. Ms Linh made me a strap that i was not happy with an rejected - she is currently making a different one. The second strap i ordered from the seller with the long name that starts with v (too lazy to look it up) but he made a great strap but the wrong size. He is remaking that one for me too. So therefore - i am still stuck waiting for a few good straps for my IWC's
Ah yes, never noticed that. The problem with your idea is of course that if one were to take him up, and he says yes, then there would be the problem of inventing some custom design and then not paying for it...
They usually make you buy one of the available ones - and then they will work with you on the customization that you want. So they get paid and you get your custom strap and all done through security of ebay.
I have ordered from both Andrea (all vintage leather styles, made to order/specs) and Tuan (a few crocodile, both from his stock and custom orders)-- both provide excellent customer service. I find the shipping from Vietnam requires more patience - I am awaiting a black cuff style for one of my gen Zeniths' as I type this......

Oh that was the rough summer look I was after to go with jeans. She does exquisite leather work but I wanted that look LOL!

I still don't really get the look though, nice shiny watch and a strap that looks somewhat second hand. I know this look is popular with the Paneristi, but its appeal passes me by. It's probably an age thing. :blush:
I just received this vintage-look strap from vietnam (blackforest-atelier.com / Emmy). It looks really rustic and feels very soft & extremely supple. They are great to deal with, when they sent me a picture of the strap after they mailed it, I noticed they made a mistake of giving me a single keeper instead of 2 keepers as per my order, and they mailed it by normal shipping instead of express as per my payment. I sent email to Emmy to complain, and without a fuss they made a new one and sent it by DHL express. I haven't received the first one that they mailed, but checking the tracking number it's already OTW.

Currently awaiting delivery of this strap from Tuan. Made to custom order within a couple of days. Great comms from Tuan and superb value.
Looking great. I am waiting on delivery from Vnhandcraftart for my IWC portofino Chrono. Should be good.
Forgot to mention that the strap I ordered from Ms. Linh, i had to reject - she had two attempts and failed miserably at both. Color was awful, stiching was completely sub par. But honest seller and refunded me almost instantly.

I think you would have to ask the seller that. I havent gotten mine yet. I am assuming it will be fine as i gave them the exact specs that i wanted for the strap. To match the IWC style exactly. I hope it comes out as planned.

What's not to like at these prices, it's no Santoni obviously but a lovely genuine gator strap 21mm exactly as ordered and the stiching is pretty well aligned

The straps are padded near the lugs bit get quite thin from around the middle and towards buckle end. Could easily fit a deployment clasp on them. Mine are gators from Tuan; can't speak for other makers.
Placed an order a week or so ago for some custom straps from some of these vendors. Very excited to see what they look like in person. So far they have all been very responsive (though the language barrier has been challenging) pictures work best when looking for something custom. Ill post pictures and reviews once it has all arrived.
