VC222 - in the works for local buyers (from Xing Patrick)

Ok, just to be clear, any modern 222 with a display caseback that is not yellow gold is a fantasy piece.
The vintage 222 was released with different dials and metals. This had a solid caseback.

I’m hoping it’s just the lighting. The case can be replayed so I’m not fretting that but the dial needs to be close

I'm usually not OCD at all, but the proportions of that dial are just wrong. The markers are thinner, the date window's frame is wrong, there's too much space. It looks like a 70's dial. Not to mention the cannon pinion that looks like the one of my son's alarm clock.
I don't know what's happening to me, hope @TESLA760 doesn't read this....

I just ordered the steel 222 with the gray dial from The One Watches. I've wanted a rep of this for a long time, so I didn't hesitate to pull the trigger. Steve claims it's from TWF factory, I'll share QC pics when I get them.

So i caved in and I ordered the V9F 222 in SS from a non TD that could source it already, I'll post the QC pics when I receive them, supposedly in 3 days. Paid 2200cny + shipping. it probably won't be as nice as the Xing custom, but i'll post dimensions and do a small review when I get it

I also asked my dealer, and got confirmation the Factory it originates from is TWF. V9F is not wrong either, as it's the same factory, but their current used name is TWF.

Cross at 5 looks actually aligned unlike the release photos, did you have to RL any?

The stamp is gonna be as correct as it gets since that caeback never existed as stainless.
