QC photos came in and I had to pass on getting a 222 from this factory all together.

Like the others said
-the date is in the wrong spot
- the pinion is wrong
- gold tone is off
But the biggest deal breaker for me is the dial :( if that was fine I would have sent it off for gold plating.

- I also noticed there’s a spelling mistake engraved on the movement spelling VACNERON CONSTANTIN GLNEVE

Gen dial is wayyyyy lighter

The dial color looks a bit like the vintage model in some of the photos

Yup. It's trash. The thing is it's a DH-Gate level rep for VSF prices. It's not even worth it. If it was half the price at maybe $200 or less then it'd be passable. But at $400 for something that is that bad it's not worth it.

I guess for a rep manufacturer thinking only of his business it's difficult to grasp the fact that that cross is the most important aesthetic feature of the watch, for him it's just a tick in the box probably. I almost spilled my coffee when I saw the comment here saying "that cross is making the watch asymmetrical". That's the whole point, that's the magic touch, the USP, if you take away the Maltese cross there you might as well buy a PRX.
The vintage versions are amazing, specially the ones in steel, but after reading this even the new gen reissue is giving me prx vibes😅

after seeing some photos on r/reptime yesterday I cancelled my order before I got QC-- glad I did! Hope Xing's 222 is better!!! not looking for perfect, but think VSF dropped the ball on this one.

Lovely watch but I'll have to wait until a better factory gives it a shot.

„no“ to all three questions? 😉
We dont have enough info, I asked to place a preorder but no response.

Personally don't think it is wise to place an order on an experimental/not fully fleshed out watch yet.

Just speaking out of my ass, doubt it will be limited - if they perfect the CNC case and modelling then they can churn out loads of cases easily. Doesnt make sense business wise to go through all that effort to perfect making a case to only sell 50

Thread will be updated if any more info comes.

In fact, the so-called CNC case is not expensive at all. In the Chinese market, there are a large number of watches using CNC watch cases, and they come from the same watch case factory. They usually change their LOGO and sell it on the Chinese Internet. This will significantly reduce the cost of the watch case
