It´s ZF V2.
It wears closer to the wrist, either due to the overall design of case and lugs or due to the fact that the case is thinner than the Ing´s.
The Ing feels somewhat top-heavy, which the AP doesn´t.
That said the bracelet of the Ing is much smoother, since it doesn´t have any sharp edges at all.
This is actually the only real glitch with the AP.
It has sharp edges all over, but at least not on th underside.
What colour dial do you have blue? I seen a green dial also.

Not sure V7F will release it but I am a patient guy.
Chances are good, I think, since the demand for the "normal" versions is probably dwindling by now.
All the rep freaks have bought one/two in the meantime and are already starting to sell them off again.
Some are even getting tired of the greenblue version by now.
And the TDs are also reading this thread, realizing that many members here are crying and whining for the titanium version. 😩
With that said I think it only is matter of time that a factory, probably V7F, will produce it.

I hope you are right.

It's true I have seen a lot of Ingy for sale lately here

Hi guys, watch arrived - what a beauty (a2892 version).

I noticed when manual winding the watch, after i let go the crown, it turns slowly backward maybe 1/6 of a full spin. Did anyone else noticed the same?

Is the clutch / clickspring mechanism the reason for that?

I think that comparison shows the effect I was talking about in mine where half the squares catch light much different than the rep. You’ll notice at a lot of angles the squares look more defined on the gen while it kinda just blends on the rep.

Some sort of magic Iwc does I guess to get it to catch light better, as the pattern looks the same on both dials.

I agree. I noticed this in both the aqua and the black as well. I read somewhere that the gen white dial is more white compared to the rep which looks slightly silver-ish? And that many actually prefer the rep in that case because it looks better.

Finished - and it is really beautiful. To sum it up:

- swiss eta 2892 used
- markers and hands cleaned and polished
- dial adjusted - date window / date disc
- gaskets replaced / added and greased - tube, crown, caseback
- waterproof tested for 5 bar
- crooked marker at 3 oclock fixed
- mid case sharp edges removed
- bracelet and clasp sharp edges removed
- bracelet and clasp oil bath

The look and feel is really nice and very smooth - winding, crown screw / unscrew, bracelet, clasp,….

And now let’s wait for some gen parts to upgrade it to franken :)

Great Work congrats!
Did you also swap the Rep Datewheel to the new ETA movement? Was it easy to fit?

Congrats, great job! Is there a way to make the screws head smaller on the bezel? This is the weakest point of this beautiful replica...

You could I guess manually sand them down, I’m not sure how you’d even get a tool in there though so it would have to be the most ridiculous manual labor ever. You could make a custom dremel head I guess by like hollowing out the center of one and have it fit over the post.

No one is gonna do that for you though, that would need to be some redneck DIY. So I’m gonna say no, can’t think of any easy way to do so.
