what is the general consensus of the ARF V3 2824 116613 LN?
Heavily leaning towards it, but if anyone’s got something against it, please let the cannons loose.
im trying to convince myself that there are far better ways to spend $500, but the sheer gravitas of the Black & Gold Sub seems to be destabilizing my mentality while directing blood flow toward my groin and away from my brain

I've just read the whole thread, consensus = v2 not much different from v3, 3135 not as good of a movement as 2824, often bolder dw on 3135. ARF better bracelet and clasp than ZZF V2. Group consensus would be that they are two very similar replicas with ZZF performing better in some parts and ARF others, it's up for you to decide what flaws you'd be willing to live with.
If you ask me personally, I'm going to order a ARF V3 2824.
Get it, it's IMHO the best 116613ln out of the box. The only thing that could possibly be improved is the bezel - the space between the bezel teeth is not polished and therefore lacks the luster, to be precise.
But the feeling, dial, gold color, bracelet/clasp, crystal etc is spot on.
Edit: I had the vrf max LN - and while it's also a great watch, it had way more flaws (gold color, sels, crystal) than the ARF.
Edit edit: no, there aren't better ways to spend 500 bucks

Think the only "consensus" is that Noob is out. VRF is out. It leaves ARF v3 and ZZFv2 contending for the top spot of best OOTB sub. smoke has commented that he thinks ZZF v2 is best OOTB sub at the moment. For those who follow and value his opinion thats great. There will always be ARF diehards that will value that brand above others. Good on them. It keeps the brand going and competition among makers is a good thing for consumers.
In the end, they are reps. They will always be reps, and buyers/wearers will always know in their minds and hearts that they are reps. They will never be 100%. If it was so, they will have sold it at gen R factory prices, not $500. The makers are not stupid.
So pick one that you are happy with. Wear it in good health. Trade/sell/gift it away when the next shiny bling comes along and buy that.

As a follow up and conclusion to my missing LEC on my ARF v3, Puretime doesn't believe the story even though a TD confirmed, because I didn't take pictures before the xtal swap. 30$ discount on next purchase lol.

If and only if they would be releasing a V4 of this model don't expect it to be the perfect version we all dream about. After releasing it you will be saying i should wait a bit to see who will buy it and review it after that everyone here will start to debate what it is better the V4 or V10s and if you should modd or stick to it as is. This usualy takes few month and this is when end of the year will come and we all gona be waiting for the rolex new release to see what how they will update the submariner. And at that moment you will say to yourself i have been waiting a lot so why not waiting a bit more and wait for ARF to release to new updated sub or shall i wait for NOOB and you will start turning in circles like that.
Bro buy what you are convinced with and dont you ever beleive that rep factories will release a perfect watch. It is with people like you that they make fortunes every release....

Mate I completely understand your point but I am not looking for a perfect rep, I have been in this world for enough time to know how it works. I just wanted to know if there was any news for a new release because I had a v2 (sold a few months ago) and honestly I don't see any difference between v2 and v3, so, now that I am missing my sub, I wonder if it does make any sense buying one identical to what I sold.

I don't think v2 are still available from the factory so if you order a v3 from a TD I am pretty sure you will receive a v3..

Agreed with above ^^^ but also, while TDs aren't perfect, they didn't get TD status by scamming people. I wouldn't worry so much about that kind of stuff
