It does not have to be broken. Its a silikon gasket which gives minor press from top to bezel so it does not flip off.
If bezel is removed 1-2 times, it can press the silicone together so its to thin, but still looks finde. but bezel wont hold anymore.

Have put the gen in and it seems to fit, however, I can still pull the bezel off with my hands after installing

Rather a very tight bezel that does not turn than a bezel that comes off too easy. Watch is waterproof, so i can swim with it again . Will have it fixed by a watchmaker

Fishing line works too!

It will always blow my mind how crucial that little ring is for the bezel. New click spring and hytrel ring, a little clean up and she clicks like a gen!

I would just bring it to a watchmaker, a professional can fix more than you think with tweaks

Should those for the bicycle chains be OK?
