The hands are an entirely different colour from the hour markers. No subtle sunburst on the dial... please at least have the hands the same colour as the markers its a deal breaker for me on an otherwise good rep

Do you have it in hand or are you judging from the pictures?
Just curious. I know the red version had a sunburst effect in hand, not so much in pictures.
Just got my QC. I thought the point of this monochrome is the white lume color.

Lol looks like ZF heard the last complaints that the hands on the BB54 and Pelagos were a tinge too yellow so they went full bonkers and made the batches too white 
Personally not a deal breaker. It's a 300 dollar rep. Reject it if you want and get a VSF sub instead.

Looks at the hands, then look at the hour markers... look at them again.. the hands should be the same colour as the markers... they are not. They stand out... same at the Pelagos 39.. it's distracting, I would clock it every time.

If you have this critique then you should know gen Tudor Pelagos 39 has similar issues lol. Same with the BB54.
I don't like critiquing the rep but then giving gen a pass.

The top looks like the zf rep with the same issue and is one of the reasons im holding off the pelagos 39..Bottom looks more consistent but I'm not sure if that's gen. I'm just saying.. a bit of colour correction goes a long way... in the case of the monochrome specifically... it is called the monochrome after allIdk @Silver Fox Mulder

Both are gen pictures. Just go look around chrono24.
Even in reviews they state that the hand lume is weaker/different to marker lume implying a different blend and therefore color.
The gen is not as perfect as you think it is.
It may not be sold with the oyster, but you could pick up a cheap bb41 m2m and use it's

That's fair but being as I don't own one I don't have a point of reference except for stock pics
I think I'll just cancel the order and go for a VSF no date sub.
The only reason I considered a tudor is because it's realistically a watch I could actually afford a Gen.

Strong case for the Sub... I genuinely prefer the Tudor over the sub... as you said, ultimately could just buy gen
Exactly, although the TUF model has the correct sunburst, and I can look past the FAT chapter ring plus I prefer the solid end links + rubber strap. Eh, they have just not been hitting the mark lately with a lot of the reps.
