Well, Toro has posted at the other site. Apparently he's telling us to approve or move on to the next member on the list...........

I think mine is worse. My screws are not only misaligned , my bezel slots are ruined. Lets say I pass on it. Now I get nothing. What member here will get my watch and accept it for $600 ?

it is pretty darn impudent to even send out these QC pics. Don't Toro's people have eyes in their head? Also, take this or move on is not acceptable. Toro knew that something would go wrong, this is why he set up this process. He generated a big hype and there are people which would buy a watch which BMW got in his QCs.
Regading the flaws, I could live with them but everytime I look at the watch it would make me sick ( knowing they can do better ) I am with Fittipaldi regarding the numbers, I always was wondering what is wrong in the big picture. I am not nit picking, a rep is a rep and you pay for a gen, but knowing they could make it better makes me sick.
Even sending out theses QCs makes me sick, take it or leave it is a NoGo for me.
Regarding the rubber bezel, I talked to Domi this morning. When the screws are out of alignment, you need a new bezel. The bezel is made out of plastic with rubber and the wrong alignment will leave marks in that bezel. Some screw heads look also scratched.
My point is, the flaws is something which everybody has to decide by himself, nobody will know, from 10000 people maybe 5 know AP, but the poor quality will be recognized by 9900.
I was looking forward to this watch but now I am very dissapointed.
There is another limited version coming in August from a trusted dealer here on RWI, I got first information and it will be a great watch, limited to 150 pieces. So stay tuned

Thanks for your post Guru. I still haven't received a response directly from Toro. But his " take it or leave it " attitude so far is very troubling. I was asked to pay on Friday. Before ever seeing QC pics. I did. That's on me. I know many of us did. Now we see the final product. So far, no one has received QC pics with an adequate bezel. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like we are paying $588 for a Canal St rep. The watch in my QC pics is damaged. How can a dealer tell me to approve or pass ? You're telling me that he is going to try and sell that watch to someone else ? That's just not right. Yes, I understand that Toro can tell me to take it or leave it. Fine. But this is unethical. I feel like a jackass for buying into the hype. This is the first limited watch that I have bought. I never got in on the Montauks. I am still waiting for Toro's email. But so far, I am not happy at all.

So you paid on Friday and I read that some other people did also pay in advance.
That was not written in Toros announcement. I did not receive anything, and I know 3 other guys which are waiting for pics but have not paid. Looks to me, people which paid are getting QC pics. So if your watch will get passed to the next, you get your money back? Forget the gen strap, sell it or mount it on a RG or cancel it.

That's the least of my concerns at this point Guru. I just got a RGRC I can use it on. I am just getting a bad taste in my mouth after Toro's post. Like I said, I hope I get a different take from him when he responds to my email. But , it's wrong for anyone to get stuck with the watch in my QC pics.

To change the bezel is not a problem, will cost $20, the problem is to get a new bezel.
The factory will not sell any spare parts. They got maybe 154 bezel for 150 watches.
