To change the bezel is not a problem, will cost $20, the problem is to get a new bezel.
The factory will not sell any spare parts. They got maybe 154 bezel for 150

Isn't it the same bezel that's on all the Rubberclad models ?

So if I pay $600 , I'll get a watch that I have to send to get modded before I wear it. Between the bezel and what it will cost to have it put on, I'm probably another $100 into it.

Anyone else see a problem !

looks like the assemblers used a freaking nail gun and shot those screws in. I bet the factory over drilled their bezel screw thread in the case and when the worker went to screw them it in they have to tighten them more so then norm, therefore given this beauty the look of a titty twister.

IMO their just used poor materials / faulty workmanship
for me its a big no go for that amount of money.

its either way too soft rubber, or a bust all together, but the bezel is least of the problems, i actually think that could be hidden, but the date window ring is the bad imh0

There is another limited version coming in August from a trusted dealer here on RWI, I got first information and it will be a great watch, limited to 150 pieces. So stay tuned

Wow, can't wait for that one. All these issues have seriously dampened my enthusiasum for this watch. Do such bezel screw issues exist with other rubber bezel models? There's a new QC pic on the QC thread which doesn't look too bad but it's kind of out of focus.

Wolf , I have had two Rubber class. The bezel screws were perfect. This is a royal screw up by the factory.

I saw that QC pic. It looks good compared to the others posted. But if that was a QC pic for a regular Rubber clad , I would tell you to reject it.

Well mine is apparently passed to shipping already and too late to do anything about.

I really feel quite shitty. I wasn't happy with the QC and I approved because I felt I had to. Then I emailed a few hours later but it was too late.

Toro said if I'm not happy when I receive he will organise something for me. I hope he is a man of his word.

This has left a really bad taste to be honest. I almost feel like I have enough...

Toro emailed me and said that my issue would be fixed before shipping. I requested one more QC pic after it is fixed. Let's see what happens. My watch needs a new bezel , not just a screw alignment.

For some reason I feel like I we were kinda ****** over a bit here.

And really I can only blame myself. Got so caught up in the Limited Edition hype and the beauty of the gen that we will end up with watches far far inferior to the likes of the Chronopassion, Blackthemes and Safari...

Man.

This is the first limited release I've been involved with. Never really got in on the MH hype or others. I liked the 57th for a few years now. When I saw it was to be repped I jumped on board. Based on my other AP's , I assumed the accuracy would be similar. I think we all know now that it's not the case. :(

That one is a lot better. But like I said , if this were a Rubber clad I would reject it. It's still not correct.

Bro, i guess you are refering to the alignment of the bezel screws? I guess we are left with no choice but to order another rubber bezel to solve it. That is way cheaper as compared to other model where you need to send it for relumed. Cheers! I hope toro do smth abt ur piece.

Surface , are you aware of what this bezel is supposed to look like ? Look at some of the Gen pics posted here. Look at a Rubberclad rep. Sharkey has tons of pics.
