What's a good place to pick up several straps that isn't too pricey? I wouldn't mind getting an assortment first to see what I like. I figure I can always go higher end down the road. I'm not even sure how much I'll like the watches :)

so should I get a 372 noob or make the bump up and get a 127 super clone?

If you're set on getting a 47mm, get the PAM127. If you're not sure yet and want to test the 47mm size first, the PAM372 is a nice start. And since it's cheap, easy enough to re-sell. ;)

Price wise and level wise, they are. Super rep level Noob/KW/ZF PAM127 is around twice the price of a first class level Noob PAM372
So the 127 ZF is that much nicer? Sounds like I should perhaps scrap the 372 plans and get a 127 instead. It does eat into the plans to get a 1359 and another watch on top of a 127 and 617 :)

Are the rep straps that come with the super clones at least passable in the near term?

They'll keep the watch from falling off of your wrist at least. :xd: But do plan on getting a nice aftermarket strap soon.

Ouch! I have a few that will work in my watch box but I'm more interested in finding the colorway and style I prefer before spending bigger on that as well :)

so I wasn't able to get an order in anywhere that wasn't going to ship until after the CNY so I'm holding off for now and I suppose I'll spend the time doing a bit more research.

The front runners so far are a 127 super rep or 372 noob with solid caseback, a 617, and a 1359. I keep looking at the PAM eye candy everyday so the list is bound to change. I'm liking some of the submersibles now as well but I do think that picking one of those up is still probably overkill when i have so many other divers.

Are there any new 2017 releases or planned releases that I should be on the look out for?

Well no solid news yet, although talk of a lower end PAM700 is said to be in the works. Also some of the new America's Cup models might be out soon as they aren't that complicated to replicate. Since you're not considering subs, I won't mention them at all. Hehehe

Well they are certainly under consideration if something really catches my eye! Mention away!

If you are looking at some submersibles, you may want to look at the 389, 382, and 508. For 44mm, look at the 243. For any other recommendations, just look at my signature.. [emoji6]

Well for subs, the PAM719, 671 are at least mentioned to be in the process of being repped. The 42mm subs, the PAM682 and 684, would certainly be big sellers if repped so watch out for those as well. Other potential releases would be the 1305 (updated version of the 305 with the P.9010 movement), the 1389 (updated 389), re-releases of the P.9000 submersibles, such as the PAM382, PAM 371, basically any sub with a display caseback.

Just ordered my first PAM, 372 from Ryan at Intime. Won't be getting it until after the CNY but at $188 it's an absolute steal and I would hop on it before too late
