What does that mean?
The expectation is that you do additional reading on what it means to QC a watch, and then ask specific questions based on what you maybe concerned with. Type in Google “QC Watch reddit” and prepare to do a lot of reading once you find the links discussing the QC approach. If you follow the directions, that group will QC your watch for you well.

I can tell you that it looks aligned and SEL looks good overall. No obvious flaws from the minimal pics shared.

Guys do you think that the crown is to far out? Or is it just not screwed in properly?

Its not screwed in all the way. Why don't you ask Steve to screw it in all the way and then resend pics?

Yeah I asked him I am just waiting for a reply and was thinking if it was a valid question
Did you received a fully screwed-down crown photo? I just received my VSF 124060 watch from Steve and sadly there is a gap 0,5-0,7 mm. I can not fully screw-down. I think it's a new batch VSF flaw. I saw many QC photos in 1 month period and all have this flaw. One example more one less bus is far away from batches 3-5 months ago. Clean has no gap. I think they made length of stem for 3235 movement and mounted it in previous version with "phantom date" position. Now they used the same for updated movement and it is too long a little. Can any watch smith say something in this subject please? Can we fix this flaw?

Not an issue on mine, which is from the first batch with the VS3230 movement.

It depends on whether it is the tube protubed to much or if the stem is too long. The later is easy to fix but the former is not.

Just received my new QCs and its good and also has better rehaut as a bonus 🤗, so I guess it was just an issue with that particular watch.

If you check gens than there actually should be a gap.

Its one easy tell of reps the crown is always fully screwed in against the case which no gen has like that.

Picture from rolex.com says otherwise

It’s not a picture, it’s a computer render, so everything on it will be well aligned. I have a Gen 124060 from 2022 in my hands now and there’s micro gap between the crown fully screwed down and the case.

They all have gaps in IRL.

Both below are my own gens and the gaps are quite noticeable.

In terms of the accuracy of rep to fool the knowledgable, that's the least of your problems as a ‘tell’.

P.s I have seen more than one gen with a similar gap.

As a little experiment, I popped the crown out of my VSF rep. Removed the crown gasket and re-inserted. It screws in completely flush to the case. With the gasket in, it sits just a fraction away from the case, as per gen pics above.

To me this is a good sign as I know the gasket is compressing against the tube. I know the watch is watertight as I swam in the sea with it all last week.

So if you crown sits totally flush, you may want to check there is a gasket in the crown, or maybe its been crushed over time and needs replacing?

Thank you all for explanations. Will test waterproofing on the machine. Do you thing 6 atm will pass without silicon grease? The watch is new from TD.
