Also just got the pressure tester out of storage and tested the Sub and glad to say it passsed at maximum test pressure of approximately 6 Bar…. Very Happy with that!

Is that as it came to you, or have you done additional work to waterproof?

Guys I finally got my VSF sub. Now I see that the bracelet is to long. Do you know I can just go to a watch store that they shorten it or would you recommend me to do it by my own? Can you recommend me equipment for that?

Thank you.

If its your first watch and first time go to a watch smith.

You need a good quality screwdriver and even than the screws can be stuck and you may damage them.

Get yourself a 1.2mm screwdriver and you can remove links on your own.

I purchased a VSF 114060 NO date sub from a TD last October. It is a GREAT watch! I wanted the authentic watch for such a long time, but was hesitant to make the $$$ commitment so I got this rep to try out. I have worn this to dinner about 6 or 7 times and it mostly sits on the watch winder.
Here is the reason why…I have been wearing an authetic NOMOS Club 38mm watch for the past several years. Going from a 38mm leather strap to a 40mm all stainless watch was like lugging a weight around. I am now on the fence if I should sell it and try to find a ZF Vacheron Constantin FiftySix with silver dial - Date only. I would totally recommend to anyone to purchase a HIGH quality rep before committing $$$ on something that you may regret.

You'll get used to the weight. Might I suggest switching it to rubber. Makes my Sub much more comfortable tbh.

The VC is a nice looking watch, you could try a 14060? Hard to find but they are out there and weigh so much less so way more comfortable. Agree with the weight thing I've got a VSF 124060 had it for a couple of months now and still not quite used to it.

Thanks. I may need to switch to the VC chat, but I am hearing that only the MXF VC FiftySix is available now. Not sure of the quality.
