Mine is gaining 5 seconds\day, although in the QC photos it was 1 second\day))
Mine is gaining up to 25 seconds and also loosing up to - 24.5 seconds per day. The Qc picture showed 0 sec per day off. Power reserve is at best 55 hours.

If you add those together thats a net .5 secs a day loss. Pretty good lol
Yeah but it varies a lot between those. Also angle does not seem to matter. Dial up may be fast or slow. So it could be behind by a minute or fast by a minute for instance after the second day.

I just got in my vsf 126610ln and I’m not going to lie. It’s a little disappointing compared to my pre raid vsf 116610lv.
Here are the biggest differences I noticed:

  • The clasp/glide lock on the 126610 is not nearly as tight or crisp as the 116610lv. And it’s serval years old haha.
  • The inside of the glide lock looks pretty rough. I know it can’t be seen but it seems like it represents the over all finish of the watch.
  • The bezel has some serious back play while the 116610 is still tight and crisp
  • The date is spot on for some of the numbers and pretty low in the window on some other dates.
It is still a nice watch and I am going to keep it but the over all feel of the116610lv just seems like the better of the two

Yes, there is a problem with the date. I also suffered for a long time while looking at the QC photo. And to see the problem, you need to look at all the dates from 1 to 31. Half is in the center, the other part is too high, the others are too low. As a result, I settled on the option where the dates will look better lower than higher, at least it looks better.

That’s very true! We are in the same boat

I recently thinned out my collection (thank you to those who bought a watch from me) and now just have 1 rep (and 2 gens).

I’ll be 50 in a couple of years, I’ve been rep collecting for over 20 years since 2002 which was around when the scene started on the internet, for me at least, and have owned literally countless replica Subs and I’ve had multiples of every gen Submariner models too (full 18k aside).

This one rep watch that I have remaining is in my opinion the best replica I have ever seen ..and at this peak they have plateaued, I doubt they will get any better, I ask myself how could they improve upon this level of finish and quality of a VSF Sub?

Sure they may in future nail the finer details such as the colours of the Hulk and Smurf (LN unaffected) and the rehaut but I can’t see how any replica Submariner could get any better than what VSF do - when VSF get it right (I’m not talking about the ones with sharp bracelets and distorted cyclops)..and for the price!?
You simply can’t buy as good a watch on the high street for £400. You can pay many thousands and get a laughable piece of flimsy trash that’ll be worth nothing the second you walk out the door, what VSF have done is astonishing.

I’ve settled on this one, I think it’s the best looking Submariner of the lot, I don’t care it’s not gold plated. This is a quality watch, it’s a tank, a very shiny pretty tank. It’s stunning and if you haven’t got one already, you are missing out on one heck of a watch.

Sorry to ask on this thread, I felt it was relevant since it is to do with a VSF Sub. I’m about to have two full sets of VSF 12XXXX, 41mm straps. 904L 97JB00 with corresponding clasp and SEL (straps that came with VSF watch). Do parts fall under the only 1 sale per month rule?

I've always said the easiest way to tell a rep is the DW alignment. I've had over 30+ reps of the sub over 10+ years being a member on here and let me tell you that the VSF is a great watch - the ONLY problem is the DW alignment. Some are perfect (I have 2 examples in my hand where each and every date is aligned perfectly). I've seen so many though with unacceptable DW alignments.

I have never understood why its so difficult for the factories to get the alignment correct. I think its because their DWs are printed incorrectly and not aligned and instead of throwing them away they still use them.

ask for good QC ppl and you will have a perfect watch.

Hi guys, my first post here - hope it is an appropriate thread.

Been interested since 2016 and finally decided to go with the VSF Hulk as my first watch - here are the QC pictures I’ve received… Should I ask for better quality / any specific pics? Any advice is much appreciated!
