GL this… looks good to me.Hi guys, my first post here - hope it is an appropriate thread.
Been interested since 2016 and finally decided to go with the VSF Hulk as my first watch - here are the QC pictures I’ve received… Should I ask for better quality / any specific pics? Any advice is much appreciated!
How does the dial compare to old hulk reps that most of the time looked to flashy / had a too strong sunburst effect?
In the first part of this thread (first few pages of this thread) you will find some pictures of some of the first VSF hulks. In the meantime, I found your jacket! How does the dial compare to old hulk reps that most of the time looked to flashy / had a too strong sunburst effect?
Your pictures looking great
Had it done when watch went for service, WR and fitting of some new parts.Looks great. Did you simply use some cape cod cloth to polish the rehaut? Or something more elaborate?
'Horses for courses' as the saying goes.I know there are two camps to this in the watch community, but wanted to get the VSF sub community's opinion:
Have you guys found it worth it to get your VSF Subs serviced right away (a sort of preventative approach) or just service it when stuff goes wrong (losing lots of time, functions not working, etc.?). Or do you guys just not even service and just get replacement movements or completely new reps? Curious on what you guys think.
I have not yet serviced any of my REPS. All run with no problems. If something goes wrong, I'll take it to the watchmaker. If he can't do anything for whatever reason, I would order a new one. VSF is great OOTB!I know there are two camps to this in the watch community, but wanted to get the VSF sub community's opinion:

Honestly that was the intention when choosing the nameIn the first part of this thread (first few pages of this thread) you will find some pictures of some of the first VSF hulks. In the meantime, I found your jacket!
I was just curious because @mrsullivan explicitly mentioned the K25 serial badge. So I was just wondering if it's maybe a new version since dials sunburst looked very good (closer to Gen from what I saw so far). But hard to say from 1 Pic because of light conditionsIn the first part of this thread (first few pages of this thread) you will find some pictures of some of the first VSF hulks.
