How have people found the gold plate? Hard wearing? I'm considering a wrapped TT but comes in at $200-300 more, is it worth it?

I have 2 wrapped ones but they are not old enough to tell if they will last longer. The Daytona is 2-3 years old though and has lasted the test so far, no signs of wearing. I have not got the sub long enough to tell. The other 2 are standard plating and again not old enough to tell if they will age well. But if you are careful with them they should last as well. I agree there is a huge difference in the price. I think I convinced myself that they were worth it although I picked up the Daytona very reasonably in M2M. Just remember these GP watches are absolute scratch magnets well anything with polished mid links are INHO.

I saw it originally for sale from @watchguyusa1 and kicked myself really hard that I did not buy it. Then when I saw it come up again I pounced on it. Yep it is thicker than the gen by quite a bit etc etc but it is a beautiful watch. I think I saw JF are doing them now but not wrapped afaik.

Jf factory made a great progress to achieve the best quality. The photo doesn't transmit the actual brilliance of the dial. The accuracy of the movement is great: only +2 seconds per day)))
