I have a few POs and I can assure you the LMPO is super shiny compared to a CrPO. The shape is the same although marginally thinner, side by side in a photo it is hard to tell the difference, but side by side they are like chalk and cheese. The LMPO is as bling as it gets the CrPO is more casual wear.Yeah I know that but it seems there isn't much liquid metal involved. Quoting a gen forum "Liquidmetal's used for the markers/numbers of the bezel. The bezel is made of ceramic containing ziconium dioxide."
Let me rephrase, why would buy the lmpo over the crpo? Other than the "limited edition argument"

All well said and explained, CrPO had a matte dial and insert, the LMPO is all about shine... case of LMPO is also thinner and lighter which is a plusI have a few POs and I can assure you the LMPO is super shiny compared to a CrPO. Hello there, if you are not too anal on small details go for the Noob CrPO, only some left since this model was on sale for months now and Toro told me only the black with silver numerals is in stock. I had this model and really enjoyed it, actually a friend got it from me by force since he fell for it badly!!! Don't worry about the open case-back, 99,9% of the people will see it will be amazed by the looks of it, if you want to be more "correct" go with the V6F but you will be having to live with a Miyota movement and all that comes along with such a choice (lower beat rate, stuttering most probably)... There are rep watches and they should be worn in joy and relief since you can save a ton of bucks!!!

So if I understand correctly, this release comes with a free bracelet, but not that original LMPO complicated to resize version, but the one that normally comes on the CrPO?
which this CrPO model is the closest visually to the LMPO.
.
That being said last I was told by Sead and Intime is that they can't get the new LMPO and don't know when. Then I heard the other day somebody was told the factory are discontinuing the new batch due to bad dials. If that is true I recommend you to try and get an LMPO because they are sought after and would be easy to move along should you choose
The 42mm Black Bezel, Silver Numbers is closest to the LMPO. Difference is Matte dial and duller Bezel and a little thicker.
Why would we get this batch if they are considered ''bad'' or flawed, fellow members might not be interested to get a ''bad'' batch?
get an old one, or wait and hope they come out with a new acceptable version.
I would really have to see one up close and personal to ascertain what it is like. However by the OP it sounds pretty good. There were flaws with the 2013 too even though it was considered a super rep. Actually there were only 3 batch errors on the 2015 as far as I can see and these flaws were not consistent. Lume, second hand colour and case set.Why would we get this batch if they are considered ''bad'' or flawed, fellow members might not be interested to get a ''bad'' batch?
According to the OP pictures, where would you personally list the 2016 batch compared to the 2013 and 2015 batches?
source from a TD?So I might be able to source an LMPO, are there any major flaws I should watch out for?
As far as I understand, the major flaw is the Zr02 logo, and maybe some misaligned numbers on the dial in the 2016 batch?
Ah yup, TD on here - Sead
(Sorry, still kind of a Noob at this, so treat me gently!)
And I just realized that it seems you talked to Sead as well. Might be worth asking him again unless you've heard something to deter you from obtaining one from him?
Sead has a good rep, so I figured if he could source one it would be worth it ...
source from a TD?
Yeah Sead is good. He had told me before the break that he couldn't get lmpo, intime said the same. So please keep us posted about availability.
For QC, look for sloppy lume, crooked markers,
Different compound used in the dial and insert. It is a mix between Zirconium and ceramic. Ceramic shines, but Liquid Metal really really shines.
Yep that was me. I still have it, the watchmaker did a bit of work on it to tighten it. So it is water resistant but he said absolutely no guarantees on depth rating. I just picked up an abused 2013 batch so I am in the process of swapping bits to make a good one. Tempted to get a 2016 as well lol.
I am glad to see another convert @pclemens wear her with pride. This is the best looking rep out there in my humble opinion.
Thank you. Yes unfortunately a lot of people out there who have messed with these beauties so some are trashed. The case set on the 2013 is much nicer in my opinion.I just picked up a busted 2013 too. Are we the same person lol ?
I remember your great posts a while Back about sehe second batch. One of the few who actually has great knowledge about this timepiece.
