@efthimis @efajri you both seem to know a lot about the lmpo. What are the main differences compared to the crpo, except the red font "seamaster", the ZrO2 mark, the close caseback and a little drop of liquid metal here and there?

It's a thinner case than crpo

I've been searching for differences between ceramic and liquid metal. I'll probably pull the trigger on another PO, just not sure the lmpo is worth the 100$ difference. Suppose to be a closer rep to gen too, anything else I'm missing?

Different compound used in the dial and insert. It is a mix between Zirconium and ceramic. Ceramic shines, but Liquid Metal really really shines.
It is myth that the 1st badge is smh superior. I owned a custom 1st badge with gen dial which I sold for top dollar and right now a second batch version - let me tell you they are virtually the same. I am currently thinking about getting the 3rd gen too. Congrats on your pressure test, many report much worse depth resistance. I remember a member from Ireland who reported it was totally unsafe for water and his watchmaker was not able to fix this due to bad CNC milling on the case (tolerances).

Yep that was me. I still have it, the watchmaker did a bit of work on it to tighten it. So it is water resistant but he said absolutely no guarantees on depth rating. I just picked up an abused 2013 batch so I am in the process of swapping bits to make a good one. Tempted to get a 2016 as well lol.

I am glad to see another convert @pclemens wear her with pride. This is the best looking rep out there in my humble opinion.

Yeah I know that but it seems there isn't much liquid metal involved. Quoting a gen forum "Liquidmetal's used for the markers/numbers of the bezel. The bezel is made of ceramic containing ziconium dioxide."

Let me rephrase, why would buy the lmpo over the crpo? Other than the "limited edition argument"

Do you mean gen or rep? If you mean rep, the lmpo is a super rep and the crpo cannot be due to the movement. It wears thinner than crpo, if that matters. And it's beautiful.

Rep. Well the closed caseback hides the movement flaws I guess. Ah decisions... should I or should I not.

OP, sorry for the hijack. Wear in good health. You gave me the envy to buy one.

Hello there, if you are not too anal on small details go for the Noob CrPO, only some left since this model was on sale for months now and Toro told me only the black with silver numerals is in stock. I had this model and really enjoyed it, actually a friend got it from me by force since he fell for it badly!!! Don't worry about the open case-back, 99,9% of the people will see it will be amazed by the looks of it, if you want to be more "correct" go with the V6F but you will be having to live with a Miyota movement and all that comes along with such a choice (lower beat rate, stuttering most probably)... There are rep watches and they should be worn in joy and relief since you can save a ton of bucks!!!
