I analyzed 2 dials 116622 platinum (Noob 316L and Noob 904L) having the gen. In the photos I can say that the 316L version dial seems to be more similar to the gen. The 904L dial is more like the 5 digit 16622, slightly darker and more grainy.

I think it’s prevalent lighting conditions when the TD pics were taken. The Platinum dial does go grainy (sparkle) in sunlight. Chinese rep production is cookie cutter like a factory assembly line. I would be very surprised if they change the dial between the 316 and 904. It takes a lot to change their tooling, supply chain and manufacture process, I doubt they would do that without big reason.

He’s right indeed, noob made 2 different “rolesium” dials. One is plain silver, one has more of a sandy hue.
I don’t know whether or not they changed it when they made that steel transition, but there is a difference in color between the 2 dials. So is gen, afaik. This is my gen 16622 for reference, which has a plain silver dial. If you look for 116622 models on the net, you’ll see the dial looks different.

I have seen well both the photos you have published in this topic and the videos on the TD sites. Dials are different. 316 version smoother and closer to Gen 116622, 904 version closer to Gen 16622

on a level with ZZF's version?

Absolutely. And no 'X' factor on the dial. If it's truly a leftover V8, the rehaut engravings are unequaled by any factory. Noob's own rehaut engravings went to shit after their June 2019 raids.

I have always seen the grainy and sandy 5 digits of the 6 digits (which I have) which is smoother with a much finer sandblasting.

But maybe Kj2020 is right, the last more sandblasted Noob dial is better

Agree with that assessment bro. Having been around the 316L dial for 2 years, i would swap to the 904L dial in a heartbeat. Gen-like or not, the extra sparkles of the 5 digit and the 904L are more appealing IMO. YMMV.

If I had wanted a plain smooth dial I would have bought the white one.

Look...
