Never seen one on a jubilee. Custom? Looks great btw.
Thanks, I can not wait (should have gotten express shipping lol). I see all this debate about VSF vs CF. Do you have an opinion on the two?@WPB33405 congratz man! That was also my first rep and have been blown away by it. You’re going to love it!
The CF has the better colour for the seconds hand and text on the dial. Which to me was important because its part of what makes this watch unique. The Vsf has a better movement but the CF runs great. Now that I have had the watch for a few months its settled in at +4 seconds a day. Cant go wrong with either in my opinionThanks, I can not wait (should have gotten express shipping lol). I see all this debate about VSF vs CF. Do you have an opinion on the two?
I've read that one dead giveaway for a rep is that the rehaut has fairly jagged/sharp edge. Whereas on gens it has a soft or rolled edge. Any knowledge of this? The CF has the better colour for the seconds hand and text on the dial. Which to me was important because its part of what makes this watch unique. The difference on the rehaut is usually how well engraved or polished it is. VSF usually has a weak engraving and light polish. CF is very gen like. But unless you had it beside a gen most people can't tell. The CF YM has no dead giveaways and most people would have to open it up and look at the movement to tell. A few posts pack in this thread there is someone with the gen and the clean and he says he confuses them all the time lol. The reps from either VSF or CF are so good these days that its like splitting hairs at this pointI've read that one dead giveaway for a rep is that the rehaut has fairly jagged/sharp edge. I did find one tell... I think. Gen has like an extra half link at the clasp that reps do not. The micro adjust in the clasp is just anchored at a different location. That is not a flaw. Gen will look like this too if anchored in the same location and/or the easy link is extended.
Gotcha. Total noob here, so still trying to learn. Thanks for the infoThe micro adjust in the clasp is just anchored at a different location. That is not a flaw. Gen will look like this too if anchored in the same location and/or the easy link is extended.
Do you know what size wrist you have?
This is the 226617 titanium, right? Which factory - TWF or EWF and how do you like it?
