I recently got a VSF Yachtmaster 40. Even though I had a problem with the bracelet (clasp crown fell off during transport and the screws come out by themselves during the day), I think it's a really good watch.

Something I noticed is that the crystal is a bit foggy/ cloudy and whiter than what I'd expect in this price range.

Below is a picture of it next to my Certina with the same lighting, can you see what I mean? Is this normal? Only way to improve it is with a gen crystal?

I ordered VSF one because it has better movement and crystal. TD helping me to choose beetween them suggesting me VSF (Puretime). Should be arriving next week and then if you want i send pics about it.

I just received the VSF YM40 with blue dial. Comparing it to a gen, the blue dial seems like a giveaway. The blue is too ‘electric’ in natural light.

Does anyone know if the Clean blue dial is any better/closer?
