So the 15703 actually came with the modern date fond, too? I did not know that.

here are some pictures of mine. Are these reflections really the same as on the gen?

The late H series onward divers all come with the modern date font. Also all serviced divers after 2013 or so will have the datewheel replaced with the modern font unless otherwise requested. So yes it’s consistent with gen.

Regarding the cyclop, the gen one doesn’t have a clear flat front too, but it is curved and it is reflective under certain lighting and angle. The ZF cyclop is good enough VS the gen. Please don’t worry too much about it. The gen diver cyclop isn’t something which is significantly different. I remember having to struggle to read the date in my gen 15711 at times too.

Dude enjoy the watch. Those little detail no one will be able to tell. I have friends who have AP gens and they connot tell. Present your self with dignity and class and no one will question your watch. I have a JF v10 and only people who know are on here. And they are not my friends. So stop it and enjoy it. Plus most people dont care what watch you have on.

Ask them. We are not trusted dealers. How will we know? It may be avaliable but that could be months from now. So go with what they say is avaliable. Or see of anyone here is selling a used one.

there comes a time in most of us when we struggle to read the date on our watch. My opthalmologist called it presbyopia and I can't see the dates on all my watches without stretching the arm out to get within focus range .. lol

that's where big watches come in ... to cater to those old folks like us. Won't look cool if we need to bring out the reading glasses just to tell time ... rofl.

Actually come to think of it, how many of us look at the date on our watch instead on our smart phone

Think it’s the DW font - it’s got AAA Aliexpress written all over it. Having said that, of course imma buy it, would be rude not too. Wanna try it on bracelet tho

I don’t know man, green will probably look tacky or gimicky? I Can’t see it being a keeper for me but yeh, might as well give it a go for a few weeks and flip....that’s the beauty of this hobby.
