In the end i dropped doing the mod with the PD-1701 because of uncertainty of compatibilty with the part from spiralwinder which cost more than 100 USD... Instead I went for a whole new watch, the PX-1711 which has manual wind and clear caseback. The manual wind will allow me to make a mechanical watch work despite the back rotor being immobilized by the picture!

Ha ha. That silver hand looks great! The Seikona is really cool too. And the Casioak build is something I’ve seen on AliEx and it looks better than I ever imagined. Love all three!!!!

The bezel is bad on dh reps and can’t seem to find a reliable seller for ocean of storms.
The only correct size bezel on Ali is the bathyscaphe, not of a fan of that style.
The sub case is not the blancpain style, don’t mind that.
Can you point me in the direction of this reddit thread? I want to do the BlancpainxSwatch metal mod and this one looks great though I couldn't find it when I searched.
Could they have swapped the bezel of the plastic rep? I am looking at it tonight on my PC monitor and the quality of the bezel isn't great when you see it in high res. Not taking anything away from the mod as I think it looks great and have been scanning AliEx for parts
