I'm linking the BlancpainxSwatch thread to this one. Don't want to continue sidetracking here. It’s a submariner style case for the NH35 movement.
You could go with an exhibition or closed case back.
The bezel is from the Ali rep and not great, case just comes with tape and no bezel. You could also use the bezel I linked to on the older post.
The rep I picked up has a small dial, it won’t fit on the shelf in the vk63 case. Anyone got any suggestions for how to fix?
Both were suggestions on the other thread. I previously made a white snoopy mod and turned out great. This dial comes in at 31.76mm, though cannot recall what the previous dial came in at.Where did you buy that rep?
And which vk63 case did you buy?
First time I hear about this
I am afraid you will need to buy another case
Try a case from BLIGERBoth were suggestions on the other thread. I previously made a white snoopy mod and turned out great. This dial comes in at 31.76mm, though cannot recall what the previous dial came in at.
Do you happen to have a link?Try a case from BLIGER
They tend to be smaller
I just found this on AliExpress: 8,59€ | BLIGER 40mm For VK63 Movement Case Japan Quartz Chronograph Multi-functional Sapphire Crystal Stainless Steel BraceletDo you happen to have a link?
Thanks! How do you deal with a gap between the rehaut and dial? I’ve got a movement holder in there, but a gap has appeared on my white snoopy mod.I just found this on AliExpress: 8,59€ | BLIGER 40mm For VK63 Movement Case Japan Quartz Chronograph Multi-functional Sapphire Crystal Stainless Steel Bracelet

Got it, thanksThere is no easy way.
If the dial is just enough then you need a custom movement holder that will keep the dial dead center
If there is a gap, then no easy way.
Some reps have a metal circle that could help. Else you can use a metal shim…both inadequate workarounds
The only clean way is to get a case that fits
This dial work deserves a metal case
Thanks. I‘ve bought several metal cases, all too thick for my taste. One with the plastic MoonSwatch proportions would be great, or a sterile PaganiThis dial work deserves a metal case
Simply done by colouring the indices and hand lume with a felt tip marker. Then give the dial a light dusting of matt varnish. Subdial @14.00 is frozen too.More detail about this please!
I'd been tossing around metal casing the Snoopy I picked and discovered it is 31.75 as well, so matches the newer dial you've picked up. So let me know what case you settled upon or how you solved these ones with smaller dialsBoth were suggestions on the other thread. I previously made a white snoopy mod and turned out great.
