The case is 50m water resistant and the back is from another watch. The case comes with a movement holder and the crown is screw down.

Getting the movement out the genuine swatch isn't as hard as everyone makes it out to be. You cut a small section out of the back with a dremmel behind the stem. You remove the stem,then remove the bezel,and then the crystal. Then the movement and dial are easy to pop out.i did have to order another movement for the stem because the one that comes with the moonswatch is too short. After that you basically pop it in cut the stem to fit and done.

We gotta figure out how to just get the back. Most of the VK63 movement cases are pretty much the same, but that caseback is great. I'm just not willing to pay $80 for a watch only to steal the caseback.

I bought the replica also for the crown which is also screw down. It also give me another case in the chance I decide to make another. And dhgate have some for around 50 so it's the case with the logos,and a bracelet. If I had thought about it I would have bought one of those first.

@wareagle44 can you take some good high res pics of the caseback full on?

I am getting stuff to do saltwater etching...
won't be perfect and it will not be in "relief", but it can get good enough...except if I get to metal sculpting
