It should have come off quite easily
Order a pe50 movement on Ali Express. They are about 8 USD.Aight, I failed. Bent the stem trying to heat that, now I ain’t got a replacement neither my MoonS.
Guess it’s an easy swap, still not a job for everyone…

They might have glued it- soak it in acetone for a day
What's the difference between the $70 speedy cases vs. the $30 VK63 cases?Ok changed some things up
I bought 3 of the metal speedmaster v5 cases from AliX (about 70-75 each dependent on color)
Bought x3 (Mercury, Moon and Sun (for that person who wants to see what the Sun dial looked like in person) (25.44 each) DHgate from watches_77
And now because of this Alaska project I’m going to buy this set up as well
Incoming probably about Jan 9 ish
I like the corgeut cases- the crown guards just give one a more finished productWhat's the difference between the $70 speedy cases vs. the $30 VK63 cases?
Doubtful. I just order the empty case.Mr. Minion - do the dials at the above AliEx link above come with the Omega logo?
Sorry to bother you again but what 3d print file are you talking about? No .stl found anywhere in this thread.Having read this thread I had to give one a try, and my contribution uses a Corgeut Speedy case which is dimensionally correct and has a hesalite crystal, which started life with a Seagull automatic movement with a date counter at 3, a running seconds at 6, and a day of the week at 9. The day and date was set using the pushers. I’d owned it for years and it was the watch I first learned to regulate (without a Timegrapher back then) though hadn’t worn it for ages making it a prime candidate for modification.
The case has plenty of space and depth for the MoonSwatch movement using its movement holder. It’s temporarily aligned and held in place by a cut generic movement spacer (No26, 4.5mm high) though I’ve ordered a movement holder from an eBay 3D printing service using the STL file generously offered here (the print cost £9). When it arrives I’ll test fit it, as I’ve slightly misaligned the dial (though it’s not as bad as the shiny rehaut makes it look in the photos). Three Suneon PE50 stems were ordered from eBay (£7) just in case, though the MS stem was the correct length and screwed straight into the Corgeut screw crown. 24hours in acetone (cellulose paint thinners) was needed before attempting to remove the C crown from its stem. The pushers now work correctly.
The brushed Jubilee bracelet is from Geckota though I have a Speedy replica bracelet which came with the Corgeut. I find Jubilees very comfortable and also I think suit this build.
