I can deal with the color because in some pictures it looks quite acceptable. The rotor noise is a not an issue either because it's easy fix for molders.

The gap will always be present and visible from afar. To me it is still an issue but to each his own.

Indeed. When the gap is so big it destroys what is beautiful about the watch in the first place: symmetry and balance. With such a big gap I think even a lay-person who knows nothing about AP and luxury watches in general will be able to tell that something is not right.

Agree 100%. Some people have other concerns. For me the dial color is in a very acceptable range. With this particular piece there are so few gens in the world it is unlikely that even a very knowledgeable AP aficionado would be able to tell any slight color variations of this rep dial from the gen.

But the gap in the bracelet is unacceptable to me.

Yes looks like you are correct:

https://www.intime05.co/audemars-pig...let-a2121.html

Why is it so hard for these rep makers LoL. This KZF version has a lighter colored date wheel. The XF has a darker color date wheel which is correct like gen.

How about this as a build:
- KZF case and bracelet (because I hate the gap in the first link of the bracelet of the XF).
- Dial and date wheel from the XF.
- XF movement (the KZF movement looks terrible).

Would be a good combination no? Can it work with these mods?

I am thinking they perhaps do that on purpose. I mean, they already put so much effort in to every little detail and of course they ask for a high price already. Why not just spent a couple more dollars and make it a perfect fit. I dont get it, they analyze the details probably more than we do and yet it is not completly proper.

Just hv to understand the exponential revenues from version v7 to 9.5s / v10 of the AP ROO SS Diver lol

Just received today - more fodder for discussion.

Tried to picture in a few different types of light.

Of note - the 15202 doesn’t have a seconds hand! My powers of perception are lacking.

The gap in the bracelet, anyway to modify this and make the gap smaller? Or is it not possible given the geometry of the bracelet XF has used?

Where I need to be.
All those complaints about the bracelet is utter BS ! did you guys ever look at the Gen , below a video for your guide, Stop whining please !!

Hey D, you need to know that guys here used to complain about the gap between the ROO straps and case edges. Lol.
For what it’s worth I agree with you on your observation about the gen and think that guys here in general are obsessed about the wrong “tell”.

Is the watch normal steel or has it a palladium plating. It looks very whitish ...

I stand corrected. There is definitely a sizeable gap. I am wrong in my previous statements and assessment. I will purchase the XF 15202BC and post pics.

Actually you’re not entirely wrong.

I have said that gen royal oaks come with different gap sizes, some bigger than the others. The one shown by fire007 illustrates that gens which that gap width exists.

Likely the only Natural way to “close up” those gaps for those who find it ugly is to muscle up to have a 9” wrist hehehehe
Or alternatively turn to rubber strap B

This. I mean it's not something new. Like legend pointed out there's been numerous people that had problems with the gaps of the plots on the old noob Offshores even though it was more 'gen like' than the updated JF fixed ones. Been hearing all kinds of funky knowledge. Maybe someone will make a book about the best urban myths of the AP section. :qtip2:

I’ve heard one that says that bezel screws MUST be sunken, preferably to the core of the earth, on all gen APs and if not, it’s rep.
Also that crystals need to be double AR to make the dial pop. But APs are not soda and to the best of my knowledge, they always have single AR on the crystal.

I think some guys know better than AP and there’s a lot of myths going around which just shows the ignorance of people.

Or gen rotors being in this and that material except for what they actually are. There's a lot lol :qtip2:
