Not the exact same watch but similar. Although they say the Noob sticks are "fatter" than gen, I think in person it looks pretty good and isn't as noticeable as it may appear to be in micro photos. Some also same the BP sticks are too skinny. I think the dial is pretty solid as well.

Thanks for your input buddy, I can see the Noob stick is fatter. I just download 2 image and compare, and i thought the Noob's vertical Line on the dial is slightly bigger but the gaps is bit smaller. BP vertical line is slightly smaller and gaps is wider.

I still prefer the day wheel font on Noob but not sure about the dial, BP wider gaps show more clarity to the dail.

What do you think ?

I founded a thread in RWG with many pics of that version. It's stunning, so I pulled the trigger.

Eager to have it on my wrist.

Thanks! I PM'ed Mike00 a while ago to ask him how his DD40 RG Brown Dial was holding up since he has had it for a while now but no reply unfortunately !

I see where you're coming from, but I actually still prefer the noob dial. And I almost feel crossed-eye trying to look so hard at the thickness of the lines lol Nonetheless, both lines are small when you put it into perspective that they're not much thicker than "Superlative Chronometer" font.

I vote Noob, as I've been burned on a BP president bracelet TWICE now. The second time was an M2M where I knew what I was buying and the watch was discounted for damage. But I've owned 2 BP president bracelets and they were both garbage. My daydates were switched out to ARF oyster, at $150 extra. YMMV.

BP font is obviously different from Gen.

Instant call out for anyone who knows, but would be a rare, if ever, occurrence.

nonetheless, enjoy your new piece!

You never know. BP date font seems a little bit thinner than the one in the first GEN pic.

But if you compare BP date font with the one in the second GEN pic, both are really close in thickness.

Anuway, on the wrist is unnoticeable. The biggest tell of this watch are, day font bigger than GEN and Rose Gold of a watch worth north of 40.000$

The A in the day fonts is totally wrong compared to gen was my point.

the rose color is quite close actually.

weight will obviously be off

Yeah, you have a sharpen view. That "A" is totally wrong. In a macro shot is easy to notice it, but in the wrist you have to know that and look carefully to identify that.

To me , rose gold color is the key in this kind of reps.

I wanted to post my super fake rep of dd from the 80s to you all and join in the convo cuz a gold DayDate is how I have imagined of owning a Rolex.... my dad got the very fake DD on 5th Avenue in the 80s for $25 bucks, $50 for two... he got two, I think he gave one to one of his friends. It is not even a automatic watch but a quartz. But the links and bracelet and the dial, everything is still working now in 2019, I just had to replace a new battery. Of course there’s a little scuffs or oxydized on the SEL link a tiny little bit, but it’s a no big deal... it takes too much work to upload a picture on here. But I just want to share this with you guys cuz every Rolex has its own story right? And I have been enjoying reading this whole threat a lot!!!!! And thinking if I should pick a new DD soon or just keep this quartz from my dad and wear it here and there!!! Love seeing all of your pictures and input on the reps!!!! Thank you guys so much!!!
