Yea you should never do a charge back as other have said.

The more I look at the pics makes me think the bracelet issues are reflections from the plastic but since you have already cancelled the order I guess it doesn't matter anymore.

Mine should be here soon so I will post pics as soon as I get it.

Waiting to hear what you think. Particularly of the gold tone. But without a real one to compare it to I dunno how you would know if it's accurate.

I was also concerned about the day wheel. If you look at mine closely you notice faded spots in the font. There may be other days that may be less pronounced/faded on the wheel or have the same spots if not worse.

Oh and another thing I noticed which I didn't want to complain about were those tiny scratches or smudges on the 2 o'clock markers. Not sure what to say about that.

This is what I get for being impatient for a more polished version to be released. I'm disappointed that the first version has these issues because I really want this watch, but I'll wait... Hope v2 or noob knocks it out of the park.

In the meantime I am having a franken DD36 made with the diamond dial. I like the DD36 as it's super comfortable. Maybe in the future once parts are readily available I'll have a fraken DD40 made.

I really wish I could try this on before I buy the rep. The 41mm day date II just seemed too big for my 6.5" wrists and out of proportion. Part of the charm of the 36mm is that it fits well as a dress watch without being too out of date. I wonder if the 40mm version will fall one way for the other... I guess only one way to find out! Any of you gents with smaller wrists able to chime in on this?

I love the DD36. Super comfortable and seems to wear big. I never tried the DD40 or 41. I do have a 40mm Yacht-Master (YM) and would consider that a 'full masculine fit.' I tried to imagine a DD40 comparing it to the YM. I ordered the DD40 but the quality just didn't satisfy me. I really want one to experience it. Here is a picture of my DD36 and I think I have an above average wrist. Don't have measuring tape to measure it.

Honestly I think you made the rite move and just accepted if bc I have a feeling majority of the Roman numeral dials all have these issues with spacing and It will be rare to get a perfect one.

I wouldn't worry so much about the timing bc the tds don't check the watch in all the positions anyway so those numbers aren't accurate.

I say wear the watch and see how it is. Worst case the timing can always be adjusted.

Should note that i didn't need to take out any links and it fits perfectly and normal with let's say my noob sub that I took out 3 links.

Hi Dorn,

I needed to add 1 link to mine ... it is supposed to come from the factory to accommodate an 8 inch wrist, but I think it's more like 7.75 inches. I had to wait 2 more weeks for additional links. Ny Sub I also had to take out 1 link and adjust the clasp to the tightest setting.

Surprise surprise.

I get pictures of the third watch and the number 2 in 26 is being eaten by the date window. Just like I predicted. I rejected it, of course. So here's the record up to this point

1st watch -> bad timekeeping according to TD

2nd watch -> had "dust on the dial" according to TD. I would have accepted this one but they ignored me saying so and exchanged it anyway.

3rd watch -> horrible date alignment, my biggest pet peeve on reps

i used to enjoy the process of buying a watch, now I just keep getting annoyed. Now to wait more days for a fourth watch.

Good luck I think this initial release is just plagued with problems. I rejected my 3rd and waiting for a refund. Will try again when they fix all of the bullshit.
