Not that I know of.

I personally use Veraet WristClean spray and cloths which I highly recommend bc its made specifically for watches and have no harmful chemicals or anything so it's safe on all metals and crystals with AR coating but some people will say just soap and water will do.

Things like sweat and oil are very bad for plated gold so if you have worn your watch all day in heat it's a good idea at the end of the day to give it a good cleaning. Common sense things like that and you should be good.

What kind of cloth do you recommend using?

I'm going to order the spray (http://www.wristclean.com/products/watch-spray?variant=21523159044) but I don't think they include the cloth.

I recommend you to get the 30.00 kit bc it comes with the spray both cloths and the brush.

The brush is great bc it doesn't scratch and gets in between the lugs. The you have the thicker cloth to wipe up the access water and spry and the hd5 cloth to polish.

I love the hd5 bc it doesn't leave any marks or lint anywhere.

That may be due to the angle the photo is in (I think he uses a phone I'm not sure) I'll look out for that when it comes in, thanks for the tip!

Scratch that, I revisited my QC photos and noticed that it is offset to the left. It's probably an easy fix however I'm pretty sure the dial is aligned to conform with the movement (maybe not I'm not sure) so would moving it misalign the day and date?

Yeah I figured it was offset. They generally are. One time I got one so offset it cut off part of the black circle line.

I think it's an easy fix and wont offset the day/date alignment as the dial is kind of merged with them. I think you just adjust the entire dial set/mechanism by a fraction of a millimeter.

I suspect mine will be offset too, so I will have it modded and adjusted to perfection once I can buy a gen date/day wheel to correct the font and color. Then all should be set.

I see I see. I heard a gen day wheel is hard to mod onto a 2836. Are there any modders you know who are capable? I've asked 2 so far and they say they lack the skill.

You can use a bk or tc dwo for the date wheel. I just got a bk one to use.

I'm not an expert but many people use them as an upgrade from the stock ones on their subs so it should be fine.

I found out to get the gen to fit you need to sand down the metal back of the gen date wheel thin enough to where it's able to be glued onto the stock dwo so there is enough clearance for it to turn over at 12 like normal. Then you also need to grind down the teeth from the inner part of the gen date wheel.

It's really lot of work and plus you are really destroying the gen date wheel to make it work.

OK I will reject the 3rd one and if the 4th one isn't right I will just take a refund. The quality is completely disappointing and nothing like in the advertised video on their website.
