Having a gen should give them exactly what they need in terms of cosmetics, whoever is out first will not wait for other factories to gage their product.

It was in AD's on September 1st.

The very first sentence in the OP confirmed the factories had already acquired one.

At least ARF wont, you can see they are still releasing the 5-digit subs.

puretime since you are very close to AR Factory, it would be nice if you also could tell them, to fix the god damn Datewheel on their DJ41. This watch is such a beauty but this fat DW font is such a mess and it shouldn’t be a big deal to fix it (at least other factories are able to produce way more gen-like ones).

I did tell them, many times, I think their movement supplier is responsible for this, because they had the movement supplier to print the DWs before passing them movements. Hopefully they will fix this soon, none of the other factories have this issue.

Yeah I think this reason is very likely.

I guess the Sub has priority when it comes to reps because it's more popular and will sell more...

New subs use a 3235 - which has the same crown direction as an ETA.

Luckily the 3235 movement is also the same size/ height as a 2824.

AR, Noob, ZF and VS all confirmed possession of the gen 126610LV.

I believe there will be at least 10 factories making the new 2020 sub.

We shall see the first 1:1 126610 rep by 2021 CNY if we are lucky.


EDIT: AR Development Team will be disscussing the feasibility of having RWI and PureTime in assisting them in the 41SUB production, please give this post a thumbs up and I will show them how demanding this is so they can approve this.

ARF disappointed me a lot because they never listened to us members. it's been years and: jf (aka Arf) 16610 went out of production and still had that hideous bold dw; same thing for the DJ 36 and 41mm (horrendous and bold dw), for the sub 116610 (horrendous and bold dw) and for the 16610 just released (horrendous and bold dw); daytona (with that unnecessary deco on the movement and thick case back). Members have been asking to improve these simple things for years and ARF has never listened to us. I wonder, therefore, why Arf would like to collaborate with us now.

This is what we were told. then the 16610 is finally released and, surprise, the dw is the usual and horrendous bold dw. I personally have chosen other factories for this reason. Why should I spend another 170 euros to get a DW gen? to enrich the modders? does Arf want to cooperate? OK perfect. I start: 1) no longer use SH movement with that horrible dw and use a vr or vs (when it comes out) moviment; 2) put a crystal with AR on the cyclops with good black hole effect. If he starts doing this, Arf has already won half the battle

Yes they will use VR3135 in their V4 and they did have AR on the cylops and they are trying to AR their cylops better.

Sub first beacuse they still have a lot of the SH3135, they will update the others eventually.
