Yes, OP. I remember the good old days, specifically when ARF listened to your/RWI’s inputs. The product was the best watch out if the box (with the exception of the stupid obese dates). And better movement in SH3135 that kicked the overpriced Yukis! But we know what happens when they become complacent. VR3135 stole their thunder away... Personally, my money is on the lean and hungry RXF/VSF. These are exciting times indeed! Let the games begin!

I believe there will be at least 10 factories making the new 2020 sub.

We shall see the first 1:1 126610 rep by 2021 CNY if we are lucky.


EDIT: AR Development Team will be disscussing the feasibility of having RWI and PureTime in assisting them in the 41SUB production, please give this post a thumbs up and I will show them how demanding this is so they can approve this.

But when does the real 41mm Submariner going to be starting to ship to AD? When they released new batman on jubilee, it took them 2 months to get to AD. If they released it on Sep 1, thinking a few months, which means that it could be before NYE. Is my assumption correct?

This watch is such a beauty but this fat DW font is such a mess and it shouldn’t be a big deal to fix it (at least other factories are able to produce way more gen-like ones).

You could just check google? Or any of the watch buying websites... Chrono24 for example where you can already see... real world examples for sale. Such as the new 41mm Kermit yours for a bargain price of $33k.

Ie... they're out there now in the real world. No waiting necessary if you have the dollar and think a steel Rolex is worth $30k lol.

It's money... they've likely printed a large batch of date wheels... maybe 20 thousand of them... who knows, maybe more. They wont "fix" it until they've gotten through those. Who knows they might be down to their last 100 or 10,000 lol. Point is, they're still selling regardless so no real "need" for them to change anything.

Co-engineer a watch with customer involved can be very interesting. We should build a spec for the factory with a level off expectation for every feature hihi
