The order number is even worse, but look at the logo and the 12 hours indices
Yeah there are multiple issues. For 15450 I like both APSF and ZF but ZF a bit more because IMO the tapisserie is a bit better with ZF.

It was a disaster, I asked the desert to give me a bit of discount on a new AP from ZF
They didn’t do any sort of quality control on this one and from pictures I was not able to see those disalignments…..

The desert may find it hard to reply due to all the sand and dryness getting in the way. Maybe you can ask the dealer you bought it from, it may be more meaningful.
Eheh was dealer before auto correction :p

Of course. I was just kidding please don’t mind me.
No problem :D
Today I had a conversation with the trusted dealer and he accepted to give me a discount to buy another AP with with the same movement but from another factory, I choose ZF
In this situation I’m satisfied and I can use the broken one for replacement and movement spare parts if needed ;)
Movement is the same, the sa3120

Hope everything go well

Hi fellows. I'm thinking of getting my first AP rep and want to know more about what I'm getting myself into. I have a few questions to ask.

1. Is the Dandong 3120 clone as reliable as Dandong Rolex clones?

2. I'm looking at the 15707 (AP ROO ceramic with orange accent) and 15706 (AP ROO forged carbon with yellow accent).

Between APSF and ZF, who makes the better 15707? Is the 15706 still in production?

I also heard the 15707 weighs quite a bit for a ceramic watch. Is this true? Is the case made in ceramic?

Thanks y'all!

The SA3120 clone movement is actually the most delicate among the clone movements which I have worked on, which includes the 4302 movement and the Rolex 4130 movement. Just be sure not to set the hands backward, they will damage the movement parts easily. Likewise be sure not to quickset the date between 9-3 o'clock. All the best!

Will answer you in point form:

1. No, the 3120 clone movement isn't as reliable as the Rolex clone movements. I would rate them as about 70% as reliable.
2. I would pick the ZF 15707. I do not know of a good 15706 which is in production now.
3. Ceramic watches aren't exactly lightweight. The rep has a weight consistent to that of a gen. Do note that even in gens there are variations of a few grams between watches of the same model. The rep ceramic watches are made with ceramic, and the material is good and indistinguishable from the gen visually.

I suggest you to try the ZF for AP watches ;) had had experience with IP and read about ZF is like better than APSF
Stay calm with the movement because it is very delicate

So I'm interested in either model, but can't seem to find any info or if anyone owns one. If I'm missing it I'd love to get pointed in the right direction. I'm aware of the typical flaws of the 42mm roo but is there anything else I should be aware of, maybe why I'm not seeing any love towards these models.

Feel like the AP ROO was popular like 10-15 years ago. Seems like most people now want slimmer steel sports watches like Rao or Rolex. Plus the rep chrono movement isnt great
