Personally I prefer the JF 15450. The dial and case are better than the APSF one. I did one with a gen dial and gen movement and it was very convincing for me. The APSF dial isn’t ideal close up and case/bezel construction isn’t like the gen. For me the 3120 clone movement isn’t a true clone at all with the slow date rollover and poor finish but for guys who do not own the gen the clone movement will be decent but if there is a side by side comparison the clone movement won’t be in the same league by any measure.
is there any possibility of finding a jf 15450? i really want one

Check with Alpha Modding (AMF) which can be found in the Trusted Dealer section. They used to modify JF 15450s so they might have one left. If not, they may be able modify a APSF 15450 to your liking. Read their thread regarding the JF 15450 they modified (with pictures) while you're there. Best of luck.

@Xlsander You went to a Watchbreaker.

If you see him again, casually throw whatever heavy object you have at hand.

A 5-year-old could have figured out the hexagonal screws sunken into a hexagonal hole in the steel bezel cannot be turned.
Him calling himself a watchmaker means I am an Indian tribe chief called Longballs.

Does that include the gen dial?
“Bevel, brush and polish case and bracelet, make the bracelet feel smooth and nice
Silence the rotor
Bezel screws realigned and polished
Alignment of markers and hands
Pressure test to 6ATM”
thats what they told me! so i guess not included

I ordered AP 15703 RSF from TD but they sent QC pics of JJF. I'd like to know they are equivalent (comparable at least) watches or totally different league. Can you help me find this out?

Where I need to be.
Question for Legend. Would you happen to know if this Diver Chrono 26703 can be swapped with an eta 7750 movement?
It can utilize some ETA parts but being a modified second@3 there is no way you can swap an ETA movement in wholesale like that.

You need a A7750 with the sec@12, and the only way to source this is either from dealers or another rep ROO as a donor.
Do note that the the design of this movement is problematic and getting another movement may not mean that the issue is resolved for good.
I will advise your current movement looked at by someone else, and a service done and swiss mainspring installed. It may revive the movement and make it more reliable, depending on what is wrong with it in the first place.

Hi guys,

I'm getting a ZF 15500 V3 in white, however I've seen that the dial is considerably more flat compared to gen and a good solution is to get DP Dial on it. Anyone has experience with DP dials? How to even start to order one?

I like their blue 15202 v1 dial but it's a different animal ofc. Afaik you can get DP dials from some (if not all) TDs.

Comitting a big faux pas here, but no answer in the other thread for a few days so here comes a cross post:

Never been much of a fan of the Offshore line. However, there is one I do find appealing and looks less bulky. A friend has the gen version, bought over a decade ago mind you, it is the Safari. Stunning watch. Are there any reps that come close, let's say like the recent 15400/15500 reps which are not far off when compared to their gen siblings?
