I went to a watch Maker to fix the stuck faux pusher and the guy absolutely butchered the watch, i guess the screws i can align myself, but any idea how to fix these scratches on the BEZEL? 😔
Damn, that watchmaker actually through those were screws, you can see how he tried to turn them out.

To get rid of those scratches is gonna require the bezel to come off, and the crystal to come out so it can be rebrushed. And then the hex "screws" will need to be flattened and repolished.

Imagine you are a watchmaker that tries to turn screws that are clearly fixed in their place, impossible to do because of their shape... 🥲

So the screws on the BEZEL are not really screws? He was not required to Touch those at all to open the watch?

Sorry but my own understanding of how to dissemble such a watch is in the Baby stages.

To do what you suggested to repair, what Kind of Shop would you go to? Maybe better a jewler?

Or has anyone sent watches back to PureTime to fix them?

Or last but not least, is there anyone here on the forum, that could be conracted, ideally in europe?

Thanks again!

That helped a lot, thank you! So you align the screws in shape before and then screw them up from the back with the bolt! Now i understand the Design.

i really hope this **** of a watchmaker put back the gasket and the rubber parts, because He was complaining to me before on the Phone when i asked to pick the watch up, that the Rubber O-Ring (as He called it) was too thick and He couldnt close the watch and He was quite upset about it and told me to Just leave it out which i objected to.

What a Tool this guy...I am so stupid to have gone to him, shoukd have Just kept the faux pusher inside...hindsight is...

Don’t mean to hijack this thread, thanks for the insights!

Look at the Watchmakers and Horologists List in the Trusted Dealers section. Choose a repairer that is nearest to your location. Best of luck.....you'll need it.

Trying to find the best one for my small wrist (15cm or so). Any recommendations as most i have looked at/did research one seem to be 41mm and that would be quite big.. as I wear a DJ36 and that is just about perfect.

Try the 15450.
Thanks Legend. Would 15202 be a tad too big? Only reason I ask as 15450 has limited 'data' in terms of feedback and good batches from TD. 15202 seems a bit more researches and has ZF working on it.

If you already have your eyes on the 15202 then why not get it and decide if the size is ok? It’s pretty subjective. At the end of the day all these watches are replicas and it does not matter which factory makes them, none are perfect and you should just choose what you like. I assure you that you’re more than capable of making your own decision on what suits you without relying on anyone else. Size compatibility is subjective and so is design. Just because 100 people think that a specific model is good it won’t automatically mean that it’ll be good for you.

I own both. 15202/16202 wear significantly bigger unless you have flat wrists.

That is my worry as I don't. DateJust 36 models sit flush and look fine on the wrist so my worry is anything 39mm+ will look huge on tiny wrists.

I agree with Lion, it is subjective but it becomes odd when the watch is bigger than the wrist so it's a predicament.

Imho it should always be of a personal preference. I don't care what others say about my watch and about whether or not it fits my thin wrist. What I think and feel is really matters. That's why you should decide your watch and not anybody else.

Thank you bery much for your speedy reply!Do you know how it compares to the JF V2 one? and if i can find any
Personally I prefer the JF 15450. The dial and case are better than the APSF one. I did one with a gen dial and gen movement and it was very convincing for me. The APSF dial isn’t ideal close up and case/bezel construction isn’t like the gen. For me the 3120 clone movement isn’t a true clone at all with the slow date rollover and poor finish but for guys who do not own the gen the clone movement will be decent but if there is a side by side comparison the clone movement won’t be in the same league by any measure.
