I just couldn't find a thread or information about the 15510 but will look at up further now.

1. I do not know of any modder in conus who can work on the 15500 specifically. There could be some. You can reach out to those listed in the watchmaker section and try your luck.

2. The markers on the 15500 reps are visually good enough. Granted thet are not white gold like the gen and the shape could be imperceptibly different but I wouldn’t spend too much time trying to improve this aspect of the watch. If you get a gen dial the dial and markers issues would both be solved. That is a lot more meaningful for me.

I just purchased a CNC case Set to build a Franken 26320. most tricky thing will be to source a fitting movement. Any idea whether the fp1150 will fit as well? Highly Appreciate your comments. Thanks!

Yes I read wrong but my answer is the same. Aside from the ZF dial the next better one produced by a maker would be the gen.

Yes it’s a JF piece in the pic but there is no guarantee for the stock availability of that same watch or that the same watch will be delivered. Just do your due diligence before you pay.

There are a few things which can go wrong and you need to be aware. Firstly what the dealer says is one thing. What he supplies can be something else.

1. At the QC stage, that’s the first indication of what the watch is. You may post a couple of pics to let us ascertain the model for you as I’ll be aware of why you’re asking.

2. Even if the QC pics are correct (they may be old pics) the actual watch you get may be different from the one you QCed.

3. Of course you may get the proverbial “oh the watch just went out of stock please choose another” after you’ve paid. So you would not get QC for the watch at all.

So it doesn’t really matter what the dealer says or what the pic shows. It is what he supplies which matters. For what it’s worth JF ROOs have been out of production for a while now. The listing therefore appears dubious to me. The dealer answering “yes it’s a JF” is technically telling the truth. But you should ask if the watch is in stock and whether he can supply it. I think that is more meaningful.

but as is who's the best replica compare to gen? 15500 or 15510? or is it the 15400?
also in terms of factory who's done it better Zf or asps? I hear mix answers about that matter..

I'm not as knowledgeable as Legend. Not even close. But I do know is that 15400 and 15500 are almost 1:1 reps (especially 15500). 15510 is a joke though. Factories are taking a piss with the wrong case, bracelet and hand sets. For me, a rep should at least look like gen. This, it doesn't, when you know what to look for.

Somehow, no one sees the problems with hands here, so I fiund it's worth to mention it. For me, that's more important issue that reused case and bracelet from older models.

@legend Just a quick inquiry: Now after having enjoyed my classic Royal Oak rep, I'm eyeing an Offshore rep. Now as I see it, a 3-hand Offshore rep should be the better choice in terms of avoiding the A7750 movement. But are the 3-hand Offshore reps also a better choice than the Chrono models in terms of their gen accuracy and build quality or are they both equal or even worse than the Chronos? My research has not led to a conclusive answer so far.

When you mentioned 3 hand offshore reps are you talking about the diver? They are indeed better in terms of reliability and accuracy. The only other 3 hand offshore I can think of off my head is the music edition. I’m not sure if there is a replica of that already.

I ordered a millenary and noticed the only ones left have a white face dial on the silver model, I looked around and could not find any real gen models like this, why would they make thousands of watches that dont look like the real thing?
