Hello Together,

I just purchased a CNC case Set to build a Franken 26320. most tricky thing will be to source a fitting movement. Any idea whether the fp1150 will fit as well? Highly Appreciate your comments. Thanks!
@legend a friend from Denmark who’s Franken you built did tell me you are one of the less people who can answer this :)
Any idea whether the omega 3303 could fit Here as well? Thank you very much in advance!

It’s a modified Asian 7750 sec@3. Reliability will be the same as the A7750 sec@12, which isn’t the best.
A service and Swiss mainspring replacement will increase the reliability of the movement but still not make it totally reliable. I believe the maker of the watch was JF.

thanks legend, would it be a good idea to look for someone to do that work as a preventative measure or leave it and wait for any problems to appear? i’ve currently got my feelers out looking for a watchman to do some service work, no luck as yet

From my experience it’s best to leave it until it runs into issues, IF it’s running well now. The reason being, the alignment of the movement parts may be put together in a specific way by the factory and during service the watchsmith will do it in his own natural way and this may occasionally cause the movement to seize up despite being serviced.

Hi guys, I'm new here. Just want to ask if it's possible to engrave the movment in the RO 15500 ZF v3 (a4302) as a mod or should we just wait for upcoming batches ??

3303 is thicker than the 1185 and the running seconds is at 9 o’clock instead of 6. *maybe* it could be modded and made to fit a gen spec case, but why risk it? Just go with a 1185 from a cartier or blancpain watch.

Thanks Mate! Was also worried about it being thicker. Then it’s confirmed not to use it. Unfortunately I cannot find any 1185 unless to buy a complete watch. Was just offered a blancpain with 22k gold rotor but it is 3.6k. :-(

Imho 3.6k is a very good price for a 1185 donor watch with a 22k gold rotor. You may regret it if you miss it.
