Cousins here in the UKWhere did you get the crystal from ?
there could be alternatives but in the online space, i‘ve only seen raffles time carry 1570 handsI have a question... I picked up an original cal 1570 for a Vietnam case and dial (Kuared) to create a Franken build... ( I took the leap...) What hands do you recommend?
I really need to get into dial making.there could be alternatives but in the online space, i‘ve only seen raffles time carry 1570 hands

It’s the little younger brother!!!Sir, that last picture will get you removed from our little fan club very fast.
Tried my hand at the "other albino " dial offered from RAffles.
the one without the chapter ring and the bright yellow lume plots.

I was hesitant because I was not certain I would be able to do anything with the colour of the lume. without doing a complete relume job but I was pleasantly surprised.
Using this color palate of the weathering paints.

Using a finer brush I was able to dull down the brightness of the lume and change it to more of a toasted almond tone , and the hands to match (they were also yellow lumed hands)
Then giving the dial surface a weathered dry brushing of these same colors really gave it a vintage look suitable for a white dialed vintage watch.
I am pleased with the results.
