I have compared a couple nos 1016 'triti' dials with a nos 'tritinova' dial with T<25 at the bottom and to tell the truth, it is hard for me to tell the difference.
I can usually spot an old genuine dial with old fuzzy markers compared to a replica fuzzy marker dial though. Most of the time.
'Fuzzy markers' = the marker lume is out of bounds and not smooth around the edges.

If the dial is sorta ratty, scratch the crystal a little bit so it does not show as much.
If the watch tends to run and stop...lay it in the sun for a little while to soften the oil scum up, sell it quick, and take off.
