Bivintage is on ebay...I paid for a case and waited 28 days for the prick to send, when I started hounding him for a refund he did everything he could to wriggle out of it...up to and including sending me pictures of the case and serial number another member has been posting recently.

If you look at his feedback you will see where I left feedback for the horrible little scrote.

Deal with that one at your own risk.

I settled on working with the cheap aliexpress case...dropped a WSO bezel, an Athaya crown, and 2 mm springbars on it.

It drilled easily and seems a little tighter inside than the Raffles sapphire case.

The old era 2824 I was going to drop in it has seen better days so I ordered a seagull movement of aliexpress to use as a beater.

Interesting enough, the holes for the springbars matched up as the drill bit can be gently pushed through both holes at the same time. Both sets of holes are the same.

Also put a Tropic 25-21 on top and a small metal Rolex gasket under the pendant tube. I have one of Ken's new gloss 6610 dials sitting here...and honestly, it is better than the gilt piece I had made up...head and shoulders better.

And a word to the wary, when using uv glue on the bottom edge of the crystal, it can be forced up the side and create an effect that looks like minute cracking of the crystal...if you can get something in there it will wipe off. Or leave it there and have an aged well worn look ( caused some concern 'til I worked out what it was ).
The band is a stainless Raffles GMT band that is sitting in green corncob in the cartridge case tumbler out back where it can merrily buzz away 'til the PT5000 gets here.

The crystal fitted to the case came in at 30.58 mm, the bezel was opened up to 30.54 mm and applied with dishwashing soap for lubricity...it is Firm!

I tried the reamers on the bezels but it was a pain in the arse, so settled on the below items from ebay. Just right for keeping the bezel round.
30 mm x 25mm

If only we could convince him to make some more 26mm dials. 😭 I guess he does that on purpose to also sell his cases
Two things I would like to access. A cheap after market case that has gen spec...and ken's dials made for NH38.

Neither is insurmountable...both are a pain in the arse to achieve.

The fact that his cases are compatible with NH but that he does not sell hands is a pain

there is the sister website Rafflestime that sells NH hands but then reluming to match colors

that's why I buy Raffles. The guy is a total gentleman. and frankly, given that you need to work the VN cases anyway, I don't see the point of paying such prices
Yeah he's a real gentleman. He's really kind, quick to answer. His products comes with reasonable price. Flawless, for real.
And I believe Ruby is fucking kidding me

Looks like Ruby never reads missed messages. Lol

Although Ruby needs to be reworked, There are certainly irreplaceable advantages. Ex) thin rehaut, overall better quality, gen spec crown&stem tube size, etc.
It's true that it's too expensive compared to Raffles, But the 1016 is something I've dreamed of since I started my watch hobby. I want mine to aftermarket parts be compatible because I'm gonna wear it for a long time.

At this point I want to find them and punch them in the face.. the way they treat their customer is so irritating
I've sent emails and whatsapp messages and they're just ignoring them over a month. Even the inquiry system in their site shows up error and doesn't work at all.
I bought a MQ 1016 case ... about 1000$ and it is very bad , even after a reshape from tripdog . AVOID !
