Hey guys, did anybody replace the crown on JMB case? Any details or how-to?

to what? a gen crown? if so you will need to drill and tap the mid case for the gen tube

My JMB case was bought M2M and didn't have a crown, and the Raffles 6mm crown fit straight on the tube without any modifications. Might not be exactly what you are looking for but in case you're looking for a drop-in replacement.

I'll have to check tap size but I think I remember it being M3 x .33. OBTW, I have had enough people "hound" me about cases that I am fixin' to order some to machine. If anybody missed out on the last batch PM me.

Tap is M3 x .35 and a #35 drill should do the trick.

Went back and re-aged my 1016 that I posted a few pages back; aged the dial with a few layers of matte spray, added texture and then finished off with an acrylic paint wash (a mix of sepia brown, black, and a little white). Followed Bonesy's method and took a dry brush to lift off the wash from the white text.

JMB case, raffles 20mm bracelet and crown, whoopy dial, gen ETA 2824, clark tropic 22, unsure of origin of hands.

I have received my "raw" cases and have started re-machining them into 1016 cases. I should have a few case sets ready to ship next week!
